  • In this super quick video I am going to share with you all how I colour my white chocolate with normal Sugarflair gel colours and my chocolate does not seize.
It's just as simple as it sounds but I've done a 'how to' video for you guys anyway, so I really hope it helps you🤞😊.

Hi! Is that compound chocolate? Would the sugarflair gels work the same with couverture chocolate please? Also, have you used the chocolate colours by sugarflair? If so, what did you think of them? (I’m a little confused; I’ve just seen a video from a lady showing sugarflair gels don’t colour the chocolate; but progel and colour mill does?! But you’ve done it just fine without any special steps?!)
Thank you for this video! xx

      Hi Cheryl,
This was the Morrisons own brand chocolate. I haven't used the chocolate colours so wouldn't be able to comment on those - I only use their gel colours and I love them! Yes I have😇, without any special steps indeed, nothing added to the chocolate just melted in the micro and added the colours. ☺.
      You're welcome💖! X

Hi! What kind of bowl are those that you used to melt the chocolate? It looks like plastic but I doubt it is.

      Hi Melissa,
      Sorry for the late reply.
Yes, those were plastic bowls that I melted the chocolate in. 😊

Can I add some coconut oil for shine ? Or will that just ruin it ?

To the chocolate? It won't taste the same, nor will the texture.

      Hi Demo,
      Sorry for the late reply!
What chocolate were you using? If that happens again you could use some Cocoa Butter, that'll make it liquid again. I think it just depends on how cheap/expensive the chocolate you are using is. 😊

Any brand of gel color will work? I usually used americolor. Do u think will it work on tampered white chocolate? U didn't add any oil was it?

      Hi there,
I usually use Sugarflair only but no, I did not add any oil. 😊

Hi! Will Americolor gel also work ok for Chocolate?

      Hi there,
That's not one I've tried. If it doesn't work, you could add roughly 1g of Cacao Butter as that will help.

Would this work with any brand of gel colours? Also, where are you from, your accent is similar to mine 😆

      Hi Debbie,
It should do as I've used Wilton & Sugarflair both and works equally well. It may not work with cheap one's so just make sure they are branded.
      I'm from the North West - Lancashire☺

They should work, I don't see a problem with them not working as they're really good. I don't use them though.
