Awesome unboxing! Yeah, just like your Mahomes that came straight from the bag to submit, I had a card that came straight from Topps that I sent for grading and it came back a 9. 🤷♂️. New sub 🙌
Great sub! You got lots of good grades for sure. Crazy how some of these new cards come out of packs as 8s. I have been doing good on my blind reveals too. I am into vintage more but do have some videos of modern and a sprinkling of some ultra modern. Keep the videos coming and you gained a new subscriber!
Yeah sometimes you just get got with pack fresh cards. That said, the ones that did come back 10s were the bigger ones. Thanks for checking the video out!
That Mahomes Starcade is awesome. It always cracks me up though when I look up a card numbered out of ten and there’s five of the ten graded PSA 10s for sale on eBay lol. You could buy them and have 60% of the run! 😂
did you submit standard through collectors club? or standard as a non member? hesitant to submit my first set cause it doesnt make sense to me to pay $125 for their membership on top of another $150 for the actual submission
I did it through the collectors club since I plan on doing more submissions with them going forward. A lot of times your local card shop will be able to do submissions on your behalf, that might be a good way to get your feet wet.
I’ll have to take another look at it - I’m still trying to figure out what to do with 8s and below - maybe keep or regrade if I don’t see anything wrong?
@@id_rips lots of guys crack and resub. I've gone the other way and stopped grading all together. If there's nothing you can see in the card, and it's PC, then give it a shot. If it's for resell, regrading might kill any profit.
@@id_rips Also, on that one... it looked like there was an indentation on the back of the card. Look at the left side, almost at the edge, just over halfway up the card.
@@id_rips That's just my take. I grade many cards on a regular basis but do not do reveal videos but I feel like once the card is turned, the reveal should be at that moment. Good luck on future videos!

I noticed that too! Makes it hard to say what it’s actually worth but pretty funny the majority of the market is all there 😁
Considering you got a lot of 8s and 9s, the bigger cards definitely made up for it. That Mahomes is probably now a solid 1k+card

Hey wanted to let you know. The Lamar “silver” is a white prizm /35!! I’d have psa fix that because that’s a significant price change

They mislabeled the lamar jackson select /35! It says silver prizm but its a white prizm

I do the same thing with my pc submissions. Cover the grade w my thumb. At least he's not saying 'psa' before every grade # like most other guys.
