  • Question: A twist of 4Nm is applied to the handle of the screwdriver. Resolve this couple moment into a pair of couple forces F exerted on the handle and P exerted on the blade.

    One question, why are the forces not negative when you divide the -4 N*m by their respective distances?

    I didn't understand one thing , if total moment is 4 so it should be equal to df+dP , why we equal them separately, 4 = df and 4 =dp ???
