Neeraj got a silver, his second medal in Olympics, which reflects his consistency at the highest level of his sport. 🎉
Both these players have changed the outlook of European players, atleast in this event.
The shuttlers may not have brought home a medal, but have made a mark. The shooting contingent did well. The hockey team has won a bronze again. The wrestlers also made a mark, though medals were elusive. The athletes have also made their presence felt.
The medal tally could be higher but for the near miss in some events.
It is a matter of time when we will start winning more medals. Governance in sports bodies needs to be improved, besides pumping in more money to support young sports persons while they are in their mid teens.

Neeraj is great sportsman. He has win hearts of Pakistanis. Love you Neeraj. People like you always remain successful and happy.
By the way I am Pak and do not care at all about Pak winning any medals.
Just saw highlights and also noticed tough life of Nadeem. Now corrupt gov of Pak is trying to get all the credit.

I'm Pakistani but I respect both athletes for their hardwork. And I request indian media specially to stop spreading hate and appreciate the athletes. Wese Olympic me enjoyment hoti par jab india Pakistan apne ap fight karte hain ya hate spread karte hain tou phir Olympic ka main point khatam ho jata hai. Try to enjoy the Olympics and appreciate every athlete.
Even to reach Olympics is a remarkable achievement.

The Pakistani athlete was truly remarkable, and its amazing that they are both friends considering the history of India and partition. Hopefully, their friendship and amazing achievnments can bring some commraderie to those two nations. I look forward to seeing them in Los Angeles and hoping they will both be free from injuries.
