    It was an amazing final. I read on Wikipedia that the Pakistani government didnt help this man train for Tokyo and that he finished fifth only to come back and break the Olympic record in Paris. Its like the Kenyan who finished fifth today studying the javelin technique by watching CZcams videos. I love hearing these underdog stories, and when people fight their way to success through their own passion and hardwork.

      He’s from a very small village. His villagers pooled together money to get him trained. He also owned a javelin for almost 8 years but didn’t have money to buy another one. The under dog story is very heart warming

    Last night it was the final. My kids and nieces were glued to the TV and invited me to join and watch .
    I opted to bow down to Allah and had specail prayers for Arshad Nadeem and Pakistan . We desperately needed a win ,because its been 40 years since Pak won a gold in Los Angeles Hockey.. I was only 14 at that time and woke whole night to watch that match .
    40 years after , frankly i didn't have courage to watch live , so i bowed down in front of Allah , prayed exclusively 2 nawafils and prayed really really hard to Allah for Arshad success and then slept ..
    I woke up at around 4 am and with pounding heart grabbed mob phone to watch the news .
    Alhamdolillah i was so excited and started crying with tears rolling down my cheeks , when i watched the news of GOLD MEDAL 🥇 by Arshad Nadeem for Pakistan.

      3 hours ago I woke upto the news that Neeraj has got Silver. I was stunned as every Indian had a feeling that he will clinch Gold. Initially, had a upset feeling of the loss that too from Nadeem. But slowly this news grew upon me and I felt happy for our neighbours. Arshad deserves this win.     Neeraj despite his groin problems ,has thrown till 89.45 m but once he overcomes his groin injury ,he would easily set his eye on 90 plus range easily

    I think this is the only sport which brought both Indians and Pakisthanis togather.
    Whenever cricket match happens we can see only hate from both sides.
    But after this game I can't see a single comment which insult other country,I can see pure love between people of India and Pakistan.

    Congratulations to Mr Anderson as well. Whoever saw the final match knows that how he made a brilliant comeback during the competition. At least one question should have been asked to him or someone should atleast congratulate him yaar. The Olympic official CZcams channel is biased too, it just showed the highlights for nadeem and neeraj,it didn't showed the final throw of Anderson which landed him in the third position.
    Congratulations to anderson, you are a hero too, at least for Grenada😢.
