I took the prep course in ppi and to be honest with you… they have a mixture of old videos and inconsistency of their classes courses. It is not so organize and to the point that you need to study to garranty to pass this difficult exam. The only good things I found about ppi was the written material and the computer exam practice like the real exam plus quizzes. Changing their course sections set up in the middle of the fe courses was not an smart moved to do. I hope school of PE offer the exam practice alike the same exam we need to take to be familiarízate to the right way to solved. I could even take practice to my fe exam even though I paid for it… it was a waste of time and money working with ppi… the only thing I gain was a lesson learned, the reviews are very important when you need to deal with a real school that will teach you the right material time spending in each one and how are the best way to solve it. Thank you for this review… I think School of PE will be my mentol for my FE and my SE licenses… Yea. Shalom 🙏🏼💯

I am considering signing up for School of PE prep course for the PE Petroleum exam. Any insight to this one specifically? I took a different prep course a prior year and found that the material we reviewed was different than what we saw on the exam as the PE Petroleum has switched from pencil-and-paper to CBT. Thanks!
I am interested in taking the PE in power, but I never took a power course in my undergrad studies. Would the school of PE teach me all of the subjects required to pass the PE or do they expect me to be familiar with the course material and brush up on the skills?

We have revamped all of our notes to respond to the changeover to CBT. NCEES releases revisions to their supplied reference handbooks for both the FE and PE exams on a regular basis, and our notes are updated each time to reflect NCEES changes. School of PE has also been working to ensure the solutions for practice problem solutions are more thorough both in terms of documentation and explanations.
I'm sorry you felt that way. Our goal is to have a range of problems that cover everything from basic concepts, to more advanced applications of knowledge. The FE exam is a "Fundamentals of Engineering" exam that naturally encompasses both types of questions. You might also find a given question to feel easy when working it on your own, but much harder when that same question is given in the timed test-taking environment. That is one reason I stress the importance of timing yourself when doing practice exams.

School of PE for FE has basic exercises way easy in comparison with the actual test. SHOULD be updated ....
