Thanks for the video Kenza. The Pearson's computers are very slow/old and it can take you a lot of time to find the equations. My tip: Write down on your cheat sheet the correct name to search for subjects that have a complex name in the FE manual, ie: if you wanna a Steel equation - use: DESIGN OF STEEL; or, if you want a structural equation - use: STRUCTURAL DESIGN. + everything what you said!!

Is there a particular PDF viewer that is most similar to the reference viewer on exam day? Or certain settings to mimic the navigation on the exam? (I haven't taken the exam yet so I'm curious how the searching works.)

At least went I took the FE exam Nov 2022. The sections are not there that you can click on. There is no table of contents or index. Which pretty much makes you rely on knowing key words.
I took it in october 2022 , it does show a table of contents in terms of each subject like the normal handbook. Was it not showing that for you either?

To answer your question, yes you can take the FE exam, but you will need to check with the state board where you're going to take the FE as they need to check your diploma to validate it. Hi Muhammad! On the exam, the search box is different than Crlt+shift+f, you can still use it now, but sometimes it’s faster to use the tricks that I shared on the video. I hope this helps! Good luck.

If I am taking the FE Mechanical Exam do I need to review the Chemical, Civil, Environmental, Electrical, etc sections for my particular exam?
