The way that jelly bean gecko looked at the camera when he was struggling with catching those crickets đ it was like an Office scene haha Thanks for sharing Mike!
It heard Mikes disapproving comments and had to give him that âreally?â look.
Ya it was so cute! hahah
Great video! Sure makes a person appreciate the work that goes into caring for this many animals.
Thanks! That is kinda the goal with these kinds of videos :)
Itâs so nice how the lizards are comfortable enough to eat from your hand, especially the smaller ones :)
Ya they are incredible little creatures
@Mike Tytula What are they called? I heard what you said, but I'm absolutely murdering the name in my Google search đ
The patience in Bree, hardcore. I wouldn't be able to do it, I stick with mammals and live vicariously. âĄâĄâĄ
I know, she has to in order to keep the animals she loves haha
it's the first time I've watched one your video and I must say I'm happy because it shows that you don't mistreat your animals and take care of them well, which however doesn't happen in many other channels, thanks
Thanks! Hopefully you consider subscribing :)
Mike rules! Lol, great video, awesome. Big ups on the music picks
Thanks! Appreciate the support :)
Awesome video brother! You guys have one of the nicest reptile rooms Iâve ever seen hands down!
Hahah thanks buddy! We have some stiff competition!
Just found your channel and Iâm excited to watch more of your stuff! I love hognoses and hope to get one someday when I know I have all the time and resources necessary to care for one!
Thankfully snakes don't require a whole lot of time, they make great pets for anyone :) Thanks for commenting and hope you stay tuned for more of my videos
That was so cool to see the green (Borneo) ratsnake eat the quail. I've always been fascinated with how arboreal snakes could do this with birds, but it's the first time I've seen footage of it happening in captivity. Also, congrats on getting the baby cat eye snake feeding. That's so awesome guys!
Thanks for the kind words! It's fascinating to see!
@@MikeTytula Crazy how far u have came I remember when you were in a tiny room u use to watch your video all time when I first started keeping reptles
just wana say happy to see someone taht loves animals and takes such good care of them
Thanks so much! Hopefully you enjoyed!
Love Watching these! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for watching!
Really enjoy this channel. Far the most down to earth and honest guy.
And very nice enclousers.
I keep only aboreal vipers and a crested gecko. Hi from sweden btw đâ
Hahah thanks for the kind words! I think I'm mostly down to earth haha. Vipers are awesome!
I love these kinds of videos get to see all different kinds of animals â€
You betcha! Lots of different stuff in here
Thanks for your video and merry Christmas brother
Merry Christmas!
Dart Frogs are always awesome to watch eat but today I'm going with the Takydromus as my favorite to see! The rat snake versus the quail was number 2.
Thanks!! They are so much fun!
Here from WWR I canât believe I havenât seen any of your videos until now!! Your reptile room is a dream collection
Fantastic! glad to hear you made your way over from his channel! Glad you like the room :)
Great video as always
Thanks for watching Chantal
Beautiful variety of reptiles!
Thanks!! Much appreciated
I love seeing the toad. I don't see too many American Toads as pets but they are super cool. I've had one for about a year and he has become one of my faves for some reason. I love how much your lizards trust you. I just got our Leopard Geckos to come up to us when we open their enclosure. Very cool stuff.
That's neat! Ya the toad was just kind of an accident haha. One of our friends had it arrive randomly in a shipment.
New subscriber here! I really appreciate how you and your girlfriend care for your animals together! Also I'm super appreciative about the smaller species as well. I've always loved catching lizards in my yard growing up. I hope that someday in the future I can have an awesome collection just like yours! You set up your enclosures so awesome
Welcome to the channel Heather! Glad you enjoyed the video, hopefully you stick around and enjoy some of the new videos that will be getting posted soon!
@@MikeTytula Thank you for the welcome! And absolutely! Turned your post notifications on đ
Heck ya! That's awesome to hear :)
Love the video guys !
Thanks!!
Great video Mike as usual. Question what happened to Strikers bioactive enclosure another plan in mind?
We had to remove him as he is no longer able to navigate a complicated enclosure
Hi Mike. Iâm a newbie to your channel. I really enjoyed your tour. †I did subscribe and turn on my bell.
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed the video, and hope you stick around for more videos
Awesome collection
Thanks!!
19:24 i love how it looks at the camera like "are you serious"
Ya literally just stares hahah
Those cricket-eating snovelnose snakes are really cool, if they are available in the states would love to get some once I've got my own place!
Keep an eye on our socials for future availability
We are hoping to have success this year with them :)
This is my first time watching him and I already know I'm subscribing
Hopefully you check out some of the other videos on the channel as well!
omg the blue tongue skink was super cool love ur vids
Thanks for watching! I'll be making another feeding video pretty soon here!
Love a feeding video
Awesome! Let me know how you liked it when you are done
gosh those pumilio are amazing!
Ya the bastimentos hahah
Great video. Subscribed
Thanks for watching!
The tails on those takydromus are amazing
The Takydromus are just awesome!
Hey! Iâve been a silent watcher for a while and love your content. I was wondering your opinions on sailfin lizards and whether youâd ever consider getting one? Love from me and my Leo gecko, Mayla :))
Hey Kiera, thanks for watching! Glad you spoke up and wrote a comment :) I personally wouldnt own a sailfin, they are beautiful lizards but not something that I would personally keep.
I love all ur animals â€ïž
Thatâs so much!
You ever used a medical wash/squeeze bottle for filling water? Its my go to for my Ts and gecko and watering plants. You dont have to tip it or get directly over the water bowl to fill it and the stream reaches pretty far
We have one but don't like it
We do have one as bree said, and it works but the goose neck jug is definitely better IMO.
Keren bgt koleksinya
Thanks for watching!
I absolutely love your iguana I live in the US so canât have one but he is stunning I love your content!!!
Thanks for watching! Enjoy the iggy from afar :)
great video. I just got 4 whites tree frogs a couple weeks ago, but have been struggling to get them to eat. id love some tips/advice, as im starting to get worried!
I know wait too little information about the setup you have. If you are able to shoot me a message on instagram with all the parameters of the tank (temps, humidity, lighting) and some photos of the tank, I can try and help there.
@@MikeTytula hi there.
I don't have any other socials, but I can try to describe it?
the 4 frogs are in a 36x24x18 if I recall correctly.
the temp in my bedroom where they're kept ranges from 68-71, but they also have a heat lamp to bask under.
for humidity, I spray the tank thoroughly with water twice a day. their enclosure is also bioactive. hope this information helps.
I love the feeding all my pets videos! its so cool watch them eat. (lol James again you probably remember my user by now)
hahaha I remember! Merry Christmas buddy!
@@MikeTytula Merry christmas!
Merry Christmas to you!
On the beaded gecko he said â they have no idea what they are doing â and I said they are super cute tho and he said the exact words đ
hahah ya that is accurate!
Could you do a video about the colored dot stickers on your tanks and what they all mean?
Its basically just for our pet sitter! But that might be an interesting video.
Like many others my 1st time on the channel. Yea the animals are great but who's the DJ I'm cool with hearing u and the tunes. Thanks
haha what?
Unreal how big a snake đ can consume. The Quall scene was so raw. I want one đđŒ
Thanks glad you enjoyed!
I love Hugo and Olga so much
They are incredible!
Can you tell us more about the colored sticker system on your tanks?
That is pretty much just for our pet sitter! But maybe I'll make a video about how we do it.
Cool video
Thanks!
"You suck!" * Jellybean gecko stares into your soul*
Ya that is exactly what happened!
I didn't realize you had a Savu python, really cool
Yeee I sure do! Made a video about it last year!
@@MikeTytula man you keep a little of everything I love it. Iâve got some vids to catch up on
Hahah sounds like it :)
love the video! what species are the jellybean geckos? :)
They are called Geckoella nebulosus
I enjoy this video but what do you use to keep your tank warm for your reptiles and amphibians heating pads or heating lamps?
Mostly heat lamps
Loved the snakes
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed!
Spengleri are Def my favorite...then the banded iguana !!! In 1999 I got my first 1.1 breeding spengleri for $50....
I wish hahaha
Im commenting at the very begining so idk if you have em but my alltime favorites are armadillo lizards and basilisk lizards(the ones that run on water)
I donât have either actually!
Hey, wondering if you have ever seen a rainbow whiptail skink?
Nope never seen one before!
What do you feed your crickets/superworms and mealworms for Cresties and leopard geckos?
A good blend of cricket gut loading veggies, like some leafy greens, squash, some bee pollen occasionally. This is something that can be found online.
Hugo cracked me up!
He cracked me up too haha.
I just took a fat ass bong hit now im gonna watch this whole cool ass video. Love from united states in arizona. I have a savannah monitor and 3 leapord geckos . And I love your channel I'm subd got post notifications on .
Thanks for watching! Enjoy the video
hey! iâve been wondering when i should add substrate and what substrate should i add for my bearded dragon?
I would have substrate all along. I personally donât keep them, but someone like Jessicaâs animal friends has some great videos
Nice reptiles sir
Thanks!
Awesome dart frogs and other reptiles
Thanks! They are awesome!
When mike said u suck to the jelly bean gecko it looked up at him, annoyed lol
Ya that was pretty funny đ
I love your video and i love that you can see how good you are carring for all your animals. But in my opinion some of your enclosures are a bit to small.
Appareciate the comment and we are always working on upgrading and moving stuff around.
That was good
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed!
What snake rack do you use, is it a custom build?
The black one is custom built!
Hey I just got a leopard gecko on Sunday (got him from an older man who couldnât keep him anymore) he hasnât moved other then going into one of the hides when I first added him to the tank, also hasnât eaten or went to the washroom, you think this is because heâs stressed from the move or is something wrong
Most likely just stressed. Make sure the temps are good and you should be alright.
and also the small cricket feeding
Glad you enjoyed!
Where can I get those little rubber feeding cup
Depends where you are located!
25:16 what kind of lizard is that all black one? Tried to spell out whatever you said it was, but no luck lmao. Maybe adding some text of the name of breed/common name for each animal would be helpful next time? Lol.
The grey one? That is a Strophurus wellingtonae
Where do you get those great metal bowl?
Depends where you are located! I will try and find some and add them to the description :)
amzn.to/3PTAICr
Whatâs the common name for those frogs you fed the crickets like 13 minutes in theyâre green with the white that looks like they were covered in a dusting of snow with those bright yellow or orange legs that have black stripes
fringed-leaf frogs!
@@MikeTytula thank you! Iâve been wanting a frog and my girlfriend absolutely loves frogs so Iâve been trying to figure out a species to get at some point and theyâre amazing and adorable little fellas
I use to have a steudner's pygmy sand gecko so cute
They are super cute!
@@MikeTytula little bitty babies I need more honestly đ©
They are awesome! Good luck with them :)
I wonder which reptile gets a shot of rye in its food?đ€đ Cheers!đ„
hahah only myself!
Hi! Thats my dream to have so many animals! :) Now I have 1 corn snake, 3 tarantulas, 1 scorpio, 2 mantis, big fish tank, 8 zebra finches, german sheperd and 2 cats. Now Im thinking about buying crested gecko and more tarantulas
As much as I love it, itâs definitely not everyoneâs lifestyle.
Aren't the Geoemyda spengleri from tropical Vietnam? I wouldn't think they brumated.
Double check winter temperatures in Vietnam
@@breezexotics The weather data I've read for their range has the day time temps (in January) being around 20°C, or 68°F. I guess I'm just used to colder temperatures being associated with brumation, like our North American species. I've seen box turtles and colubrid snakes that were active (in the wild) down into the 40's (°F). I hope you guys (and anyone else trying) are successful in breeding these little guys, I'd love to own some one day. I love their goofy little faces.
The coldest parts of where they are actually found, like temps taken at their location is around the low 50s. All the steps we are taking are adviced by the guy who literally wrote the book on their care and has successfully produced them year after year.
@@MikeTytula Yeah, it's really interesting to me. It's kind of got me wondering about some other species that I normally associate with sub-tropical forest regions, and if they would benefit from brumation as well. Can you share the info of the guy/book you're using? I find a lot of information online to be sketchy, and if he's produced them consistently, that makes him a verified source in my book.
His name is Anthony Perlioni
How the heck do you keep the gnats away?? I have two bioactive enclosures and the gnats are EVERYWHERE.
Predatory mites do wonders!
@Mike Tytula Dont they kill off your isopods/springtails?
you should start a discord server!! If you ever wanted to and need some help let me know!!
Sounds good!
I know it is a huge part of their diet in the wild, but have you noticed the hogs turning down rodents more after you started offering frog legs? Do you only feed the frog legs to the ones that won't take rodents, or do you feed them to all of your hogs?
Once the hogs get eating regularly they will eat whatever I offer them. I have never run into the case of a Hognose not wanting to return to rodents after eating other proteins. Unfortunately this seems to be a common misconception that steers people away from feeding variety in fear their snake will become picky.
@@breezexotics gotcha. That makes since. Feeding a variety of different feeder insects and veggies is pushed so much for other reptiles, yet when it comes to snakes people typically stick to just rodents. I feel like eating the same thing every single meal would get incredibly boring for any animal. In the wild they would come across so many different types of prey items, and when you don't know when your next meal is coming food is food. I think that is definitely something that should he talked about more within the hobby.
Rodents dont make up a huge part of their diet in the wild. As far as I know, I'd have to look at some papers though to say definitively. All of the hogs get a huge variety of different foods, some like some foods more than others.
Hi I love your channel but can you show more lizards
The channel is mostly lizards hahah
Do you all breed your own feeder's? If so are dubia roaches one you breed? As a cool side project, it would be cool to you all have a small bioactive enclosure for them to breed in. Or isopods. Just saying it could a nice little thing on side. Roach are actually pretty interesting little creatures, along with pods. Crickets not so much, legit not a fan of them, in fact I will not feed them to anyone. I use dubia's cuz they hold more nutrition. If they feeders get a great life, then you pets will have better one I believe.
Dubia are illegal in Canada, so we don't have those, but we do produce some of our own feeders, like fruit flies. The remainder we purchase.
What kind of frog at around the 13:00 mark ?
Cruziohyla craspedopus
At 22:15, man that was cute
Right??
How much did it cost for all ur animalâs
A lot!
I need to get some tackies. but i need to off load some geckos babies to the make room.
Let me know when you are ready! We ship to Canada and the US
@MikeTytula once i rebuild my room i will have two 2 ft cubes free so hopefully in the new year. Im still debating on mountain horn dragons (its a divided 4 by 2 by 2 setup) or a group of tackies with room to expand.
I'm biased, but Takys all the way
wouldnt it be safer for the animals teeth to use plastic or silicone tongs? or would those break off and go into the animals stomach?
I've never had any issues with the method we currently use.
hmm why is the boiga is not in a terrarium tank ?
Do you mean the hatchlings? They are being started in semi opaque bins to reduce stress and maintain humidity until they are established.
I don't really see why it would matter if it's glass or plastic - as long as it's setup is adequate.
Not sure what you mean? They are in suitable enclosures for baby boiga.
@@breezexotics i didnt say its inadequate , isnt a glass tank better to observe their behavior , of course a bin is the same , dont worry i am not tub police , lol
â@@sdqsdq6274I can still see them through the bin but I would rather they would not be able to see us as clearly as they are so easily stressed
27:14 does anyone know the name of that gecko? thank you in advance
Its a chahoua gecko or a mossy prehensile-tailed gecko
do they get dumb indoors breeding ?? no way some of em survive a night out !! love reptiles and plants great channel !!!!!!
What?
What that green lizard đŠ that ate cricket from your hand???? 14.21 minute
Takydromus dorsalis
I really prefer the crested geckos but I think Iâm biased due to it being what I have
Prefer cresties over what?
@@MikeTytula All other reptilesđ, although I love learning abt all kinds of them. Really appreciate what you do on ur channel!
I am kindanew to this whole reptile thing isn't it better to leave the fruits a bit chunky and solid for their natural adaptations? I feel like you just helped them way to much
I mean in their natural habitat they probably don't stumble on cultivars of mangos or large bananas, but I see where you are coming from. We do give them solid food, just their fruit diet is blended.
I can smell the minty đ
Whatâs with you and minty
If itâs minty itâs minty, if itâs not itâs not đ±
hahah thanks my dude
Dont they need sunlight lol?
They have UVB bulbs which mimic the sun in certain ways.
I'm Terrified of snakes đ and spiders đ· but I love all animals and I do watch alot of snake and reptile keepers and I do want to get a tortoise đą or something easier to look after
Itâs good you are able to watch it!
Masz bardzo bardzo egzotyczne zwierzaki super .ja mam Ćlimaki afrykaĆskie i ĆŒĂłĆwia zawiasowego .pozdrawiam i zapraszam do mnie
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the video!
I always found it odd that when we watch people eat it's rude - but when we watch animals eat it's "edutainment".
Hahah that is definitely a weird concept. I have never really though about it before.
My question is how in the world do you afford feeding and taken care of all your animals and have time too lol
We are thankful for our current living situation, but that could change anytime! As far as the time, thatâs all we do, work, reptiles, sleep
Naw bro has a IRL Pokémon
Hahah kinda true?
My friend James told me about you
Awesome! Enjoy the channel
No Iâm not complaining but u need more leopard geckos lol đ o btw Iâm Dj I own fire starter geckos
Hahah Striker is plenty for me :)
2 decades of experience, letâs go đȘSUBSCRIBEDđȘthinking of my first lizard- want a handleable one, but want the feeding to be easy and need to be able to leave it alone for many weekends. Suggestions?
With something like an automatic mister a crested gecko would be a good choice. Or a leopard gecko if you were okay with feeding insects
