Great review on these fragrances, you have a captivating style of describing scents. I really enjoyed it. I have the Boisee and Gentleman edp. I also just pulled the trigger on Gentleman Only, I really like this House. ☺️👍
I have been looking to get a Givenchy fragrance, but passed on the EDP because I already have Dior Homme Intense and don't like to have similar kinda fragrances. I passed on the EDT because I've heard it has performance issues. TO be honest I really hope Givenchy steps away from Gentlemen and does something new!
Does the reformulation of the original 1974 Gentleman smell exactly the same? although it be lighter. I used to wear this years ago and it was very strong and so masculine. Thanks Peter.
Still strong with a big dose of Civet. Definitely for mature noses for the first 2 hours or so. After that it has a beautiful Still masculine Drydown for anyone. 😉
I share your exact sentiments over Boisee. It's disappointing. Dries down to a cheap smelling sandalwood bomb. Smells identical to a $10 cologne i had years ago called "Jovan-tropical musk" but a great line over all
Not to me. SB smells like a Elite Spice Basar, while GOA has the Gentlemanly vibe. I wouldn't wear SB to a formal function. GOA is much more versatile.

Agreed.The Boisee is truly underwhelming. Maybe we'll get lucky with some new ones. 😉
