A lot of Rammstein's new album is about time and age. "Zeit" was one path, and this one is about the absurdity of old glam rockers (and people in general) doing everything to deny/hide that they are getting old. Just look at the audience - all their fans are geriatric people. It's showing how ridiculous and futile it it to cling on to the golden moment of the past.
