Quick point: Buddhism is about compassion and eliminating suffering for all sentient beings. When you first get into it, youre usually suffering pretty bad yourself and for a while its all about Nirvana. However, that initilal suffering gets resolved fairly quick through the practice, and THEN comes this idea of the Bodhisattva Vow. That happens when youve healed so much and become so compassionate, you have an overwhelming desire to help all other sentient beings achieve peace. So, really, Buddhism is actually in agreement with what youre saying here. Nirvana being the ultimate reward for us all, ONLY when we've ALL become fully enlightened.
Im a Buddhist and I just wanted to clear that up. We totally believe in the very real possibility of experiencing "heaven on earth" and the reality of Oneness.

My big question on this theory is, whats the point of this reincarnation to learn if we forget what we lived through before? For us to learn surely we need to remember what we experienced before ? Otherwise whats the point? We would be in a state of constant repeat failure in gaining higher state of consience, we become a 100% blank slate just to go through it all again, possibly making the same mistakes and never learning. Thats the biggest problem with this theory.

What you experience is called lucid dreaming and is not the norm. I only have a few lucid dreams a year and wish I could do it on a nightly basis.

I have flat lined twice, and I can tell you all for certain that this guy is right on the money with everything he is preaching. My experience of death was no less real than my experience of now is. In the time I was no longer here, I was put into two different bodies as a series of what I perceived to be experiments that I was to be apart of (avatars). The man who was facilitating these experiments was an old man with white hair (some say god, but I disagree as I didn’t perceive him as such). In both of the cases I did not accept the bodies/avatars as me, and it is thought provoking as to whether or not that is why I came back again-especially since my survival was a medical miracle. My circumstances were a severe case of viral cardiomyopathy which I was expected to be fatal-and if I were to survive, I was looking at a heart transplant, or at least an LVAD (both of which I never needed, and since then I am a fully healthy and functional athlete). I attribute all of the miracle to the power of will. When I was laying in that hospital, I made a conscious decision that I was going to will/exist myself to good health again. You cannot just drop an elephant into another planet. Re incarnation will involve the consciousness and will need another avatar or new body for that planet to adapt the condition of that planet. It might evolve into something completely different. That is how consciousness evolves. It might not repeat the same lessons.
