Rally is a team attack on a barbarian fort or a player
For early KvKs (1-3) Rome was great. Infantry is aligned with the early game META and the inf purple/blue equipment gives health and attack. So the defense is a great balance and the march speed is a nice value. For SoC it really depends on your role in the kingdom and your primary troop type.

I've just chosen Byzantine from the beginning because I like their history, their characteristics (cavalry and Cataphracts!) and their look on the game (I'm playing just from almost 20 days).
I've always felt weird because I've NEVER seen someone with Byzantine civilization during the game. Actually I'm pretty happy you've talked about it!
I truly believe that choose the right civilization makes you a better player if you want to go really deep in the game but inside myself I know I don't want to be the best player in the World but I want to play deep to have fun so better choose what you really like 😊

I first started call of dragons and called stuff rok names, and now when I play rok I call stuff call of dragons names, it’s hard to stop

Started with Rome, then switched to France during Pre-KvK1.
Never changed since, has been more than 2 years.

Same here, France is 3% health but to all troops and hospital buff is great for kvk battles too

If started with china, when to switch to mid game civilization? Is it after lvl25 townhall?
When do you plan to use those AP ?
I'm probably where most players are at low spend, maybe $20-30 per week. I focus on getting around 100 million kp per kvk. I've been using Ottoman but I might switch to France. Going into kvk with around 5200 hours of speed ups makes me short on speed ups going into zone 7. I think France might help me save some speed ups going into the last fight of Kingsland. Ty Chisgule.

i have four characters and civilizations are ottoman, greece, vikings, and arabia being my main acc for the sake of a rallied army damage combo in my personal army and i’ve been wondering if i should keep vikings or switch it to egypt but egypt has this building and research speed perk which will be useless if all are maxed out
The active skill damage affects smite damage? I just got vip 15 and I was told to switch from France to Ottomans, but I'm f2p practically so I think France is still better for me, any opinions? 👀
i chose germany and just stuck with it the whole time, tbh its really fun using the teutonic knights

Started with Greek when I just started today, power getting better and my troops are kinda skyrocketing, I chose Greece because I was too lazy to see the stuff so I just chose it because the good history and that’s how I am now a pro “By today I mean something else”
I’m a sleeper and started with Arabia not for the buffs but for baibars then I switched to Germany because I was planing it run Mina+baibars as a low spender
biabars with aeth is also aa solid march

For farms, start with France to get joan, then, when you get the free civ change token, switch to Japan. Starting with joan is amazing for farms.

@Chisgule all my farms have sun tzu on their wall, but it isn't as pressing as it is with a main account. It's more important to have joan earlier and get the extra heads to develop her on a farm. BTW, early game she does really well on the wall. I once fended off three attackers using mina with her on a farm.
I literally went for Vikings on my farm. I prefer troop load.

When is considered mid game? Some context of when these situations happen would be nice. Love your vids!
I don't think mid game really exists now, early game is pre SOC commanders but soc is also late game?
Kvk 3 and 4 used to be considered mid game.
It's not solidly defined. You can either look at it from personal progression (CH25 and on your way to Academy 25) or kingdom progression (after KvK 1 and before KvK 4).

Hello chisgule i have debating with some friends a subject about archers and because of it i thought about bringing the subject to you.
Is artemísia good in 2023?
In my noob opinion zhuge is like xy, amazing and all but an immediate target, if someone knows you have him you become target number 1, Many times resulting in bad trades because you dont even have time to trigger zhuge abilities.
So, isnt Boudica/artemisia the real meta of archers right now? Boudica clears auto silence, both have good damage, one has aoe, and more importante to me because im broke and always short of RSS, tanky.
Whats your opinion?

Wish I knew all this from the start. I’m about 110 days old. Started with Spain and recently switched to Germany. I’m about 12 lvls away (tech) from T5. I’d have unlocked it much sooner had I known wtf I was doing 😂. Nice vid brother. Kingdom 3147 ❤️

I have a question about the starting civilization: I've choose Greece because i wanted to try the new civilization, and now i have 360k and I'm at level 10 (after 10 days). Should i switch to china to grow up faster or it's to late?

I started as Britain then switched to Germany when i turned ch 21
I feel like Spain is bad for low spenders- it seems to me like the XP crunch is not really a problem in the early game. The reason for this is because now when you can work on SoC commanders in KvK 3, unless you’re a whale you really only have one MAYBE 2 marches until then. I maxed my one primary commander, and disregarding peacekeepers everything else only needs to go to lvl 40 at max. Even if you get YSG, lvl 40 is good enough for him. Gathering commanders Ned levels too, but even then it’s lvl 40 and not that difficult. I’m in KvK 1 right now and am saving all my books because I don’t really have any investment that I feel I need to level right now. I am passively leveling CM and Richard but they’re not that critical because I’m not putting gold heads into them
Ever since Lilith allowed SOC commanders to be used starting from KVK 3 really changed the whole game play (in a bad way)... So yeah

I'm CH23 and need to grow my commanders. Should I go with 10% exp from Spain? I have 4 mil power and 336k troops I just unlocked two t4's. I'm not sure what to do next. I do spend money on the game. I need to level up my commanders and power up to 10 mil quickly,..,,
The best way to gain exp is killing holy site guardians. Check out my vid on this

I want a game like this but not the hassle of having to join a clan/guild or whatever. I dont have the time for all that. Any recommendations?
If you dont have time, just skip games like this, you will never progress without alot time so dont even try

In my opinion, china is best in beginning in mid game late game would be other empire. Like ottoman etc.

Ottoman is really the choice you want to avoid if you not an archer garrison and your structure will be swarmed… which happens now very often, especially in new kvk formats
Yes it depends on how much you think you'll be swarmed vs simply rallied. These days the AOE skill damage is pretty solid on garrisons.
@@Chisgule yeah, that’s the thing… one of the best march to swarm a garrison nowadays is Nev/William right? So pretty sure you ll get constantly one or two or three Williams hitting you… meaning your skill dmg buff from Ottoman is dispelled by William’s active. As myself Cav garrison, I rather nowadays even keep a Cav civilisation. Like pretty much all cav garrison specialised players. Also reason we try to get another formation than Wedge equiped when swarm is expected. You loose benefit of skill dmg buffs too much of the time the battle last, because of the Williams

That combination is very far out of meta now. You'd use Zeno Hera if you wanted anti swarm, but even then there are better hera combos. czcams.com/video/JS8nJJ7r8V4/video.html

Yes, because you should also have at least one inf and one archer march as well

I would not pair Mina and YSG together in an ideal world you'd split them. For KvK 1 I think it could be fine if you're only fielding 1 march.

I chose vikings kept it forever and i think it hurt me early game since i never had enough power for being in the field the attack and counter attack was decent for if i had to fight with a team as i could atleast help
China is the best pick in the early game for sure

No, it is the rss amount your march can carry (like looting city or gathering rss on map) is increased by 10%

Yes, if you use 3 inf 1 arch 1 cav that would be fine to use ottoman. March speed + skill damage is very good.
i thought vikings was the best open field civ for infantry cause i saw some infantry test video's of vikings vs france orvikings vs ottoman and vikings won.

So there are two Greek civilizations
Greece vs France what’s better cause Greece gives 5% health and France only 3%
Greece is only for rallying, specifically with infantry. If you want a field civilization go with Ottoman, or if you're deadset on infantry and F2P value go with france for the heal speed. Remember France gives 3% to all troop types, not just inf.
