I too was not religious, in fact I was a pretty aggressive atheist. Then is Sept 2019 out of nowhere BOOM. I had no idea at the time but it was The Holy Spirit moving in my life.
Over about 8 weeks my life was changed forever. I had no idea who Jesus was (didn’t even realise he was real) but I read and read and actually tried to fight against it as I was from a totally unchurched family, but I just couldn’t deny the truth of Jesus.
On November 21st 2019 the old me died and I was reborn. I pray that you will experience the same. If you seek you will find 🙏

Four laywomen came to stay with these Poor Clares; it is a 4-part series called "The Convent," and is available on youtube. For several years, the final episode was not available. Then the Poor Clares posted it on their site. I was so happy to learn of the happy ending of the series! Highly recommend it.

Seeing these nuns and hearing their singing is to me very moving. People sometimes think nuns are out of touch - not true at all of the nuns who taught me in the 70s and 80s. They were very in touch with what was going on in the world. There was an atmosphere around the building that is hard to describe but I always felt valued. We had a lot of fun too. The life of a nun is one of service - their lives are dedicated to God and to serving others.
Man the power humans voices can muster when working in chorus is phenomenal
This is one of my favourite pieces of music, and their version is sublime.
