    Instructions
    00:00 Introduction
    00:23 Place Oreo cookies in a food processor. Pulse until they have been pulverized into fine crumbs. 01:10 Set aside.
    01:13 In a stand mixer (or in a large bowl using an electric mixer), beat cream cheese until it is smooth.
    01:28 Reserve 2 Tablespoons of your cookie crumbs and add the remaining crumbs in with the cream cheese. Add vanilla extract and stir all ingredients until well-combined.
    01:51 Scoop Oreo mixture by 1 1/2 Tablespoon and drop onto wax paper-lined cookie sheet.
    02:09 Place in freezer and chill for 15 minutes.
    02:19 Place your dark chocolate melting wafers in one small bowl and your white chocolate in another. Prepare according to instructions on packaging, heating until melted.
    02:42 Retrieve your Oreo balls from the freezer and dip truffles in chocolate, dipping half of the truffles in dark chocolate and half in the white chocolate.** Immediately after dipping each truffle, sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs.
    03:30 Allow chocolate to harden before serving truffles. Keep stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

    Hello Sam, I have been making those for years , since my boys were 3 years old. Now they are adults, one is 24 years old and the other one is 21 years old. Every Christmas 🎄 it’s a tradition for us to do them together. It’s lots of fun with my boys, and I add in them Dark and Semi sweet milk chocolates in them . Also I add Gram Crackers ( just like the Oreos) all pulsed, and Orange 🍊 zest, gives that yummy taste, with Vanilla Extract. For adults that have no Nuts Allergy I add chopped walnuts, or Chopped Almonds or Pistachios. They are sooo good. And I love ❤️ love 💕 all your recipes and I make them all the time. Thank you for all of your great 👍🏻 amazing recipes.

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  Před 3 lety +1

      I did not add anything to the melting wafers. I just microwave them a couple of seconds at a time until they are all melted together. If they do start to get hard again you can just microwave them for a few more seconds. Don't overheat them in the microwave though. Dipping chocolates is always a big mess but it's worth it in the end. :)
