( Davids dismount ) ?? well seems everything was ok ... like i said the adventure started and seems it's living up to the dream ha nightmare?? ... think your in for a treat on the next leg ?? There's so much of the world we never see or visit it's a blessing the likes of you and other explorers do it for us ... they were a hoot the Armish couple . As I've always said be lucky, be safe living the dream hey fella.

    I was in the States last year and loved it, but they can keep their bloody Hershey bars, nothing like Cadbury’s chocolate. I too meet an Amish couple and visited an Amish farm, they were the hardest working people I have ever meet, he was a small bloke with hands like a vice, very welcoming and nice people, I too asked almost the same questions and they answered them without hesitation. It’s not being rude or disrespectful it just curiosity and there’s nothing wrong with that. Great stuff mate. 👍👍👍

    One of the biggest concerns on those roads is a stone thru the belt and a belt disintigrating.

    • @jaquesdaniels2964
      @jaquesdaniels2964 Před 5 lety +1

      they have belt guards, and I ran on a belt which had picked up a stone when I rode over melting tarmac so the stone stuck and was crushed down by the rear pulley, kept riding, no problems- if that worried about it, theres an emergency belt kit, you only really need to change the belt if the edge is damaged.
      And one of the biggest concerns on a liquid cooled bike is a stone through the radiator and or oil cooler.

Unless the eyelet on the frame or stand is broken, all you need to fix the stand is a Phillips screwdriver, machine head, and you connect the spring to the stand then pry the spring hook up and over the eyelet on the frame. I hope your personal life gets simpler. Outside of that, when you do these trips you bring me joy watching your videos. Peace and more miles.

I love how you talk to people, you find that most people nowadays have lost the ability to hold conversations with total strangers, the facts you got from the Amish was interesting, people obviously pick up that thought are a decent guy and are willing to be asked questions and actually answer you truthfully. Asking David how his mood was, was best summed up with the logo on his shirt 'Fitup' 😂😂😂😂😂😂, keep it going lads, true grit.
