*Sonic the Hedgehog & the Dominion of Dinosaurs* Chapter 41: Introductions Ian: "Can't get ahold of anyone since everything is, uh, on fire." Sonic: "Dr. Sattler. Have some water." Ellie: "Thanks, Sonic." Owen: "Dr. Grant. *Passes a bottle of water to Alan* Here ya are. I'm, uh, I'm Owen Grady. And this is Mr. Stark. Big fans. We read your book." Tony: "Well, book on tape." Alan: "Owen Grady. Owen Grady and Tony Stark. Yeah, I know who you two are. You trained raptors!" Owen: "Yeah. We tried." *Next, Maddie checked on Maisie to make sure she wasn't seriously hurt.* Maddie: "How are you doing, kiddo?" Maisie: "One here." Claire: "That's a nasty cut." Ellie: "You were. . . . . You were at Jurassic World." Ian: "Jurassic World? Not a fan." Shadow: "I wouldn't wanna go to a theme park with animals gone extinct." *While Blaze was healing Hermione's bleeding head and Owen checked his Star-Lord suit and Tony modified his Iron Man MK 120 nanotech, Ginny told Maisie about Spencer and his friends' adventure in Jumanji.* Maisie: "Ah, not really interested about playing a video game wanting to suck you up inside it." Spencer: "Yeah, same thing. But for now on, we're all finished with it. Literally." Amy: "That's cool." Ginny: "And that is how the Jumanji game was now banished." Silver: "Never hear of that before, though." *Couldn't recognized Knuckles at first, Maisie helped Fridge out.* Fridge: "Huh, you jumped off a plane to track her down? *Knuckles agreed and shook his head* Are you like, uh, porcupine or something?" Knuckles: "I am an Echidna, of course. Trained since birth in all forms of lethal combat, destined to restore honor to my tribe, and willing to destroy anything that gets in my way." Fridge: "Huh, guess that makes more sense." Maisie: "That means he trusts you, Fridge." *Tom grabbed and tranquilizer rifle out from the cabinet. Not the most powerful weapon, but much better than Owen's knife. Sonic and Tails weren't too happy with Maisie about her adventure with Blaze and her friends. They decided to force her to talk with them, so they can figure out why Robotnik created Biosyn in the first place and was pretending to be Dodgson's boss.* Sonic: "So, you're the one whose been teaming up with your new allies and not being kidnapped the whole time. You want to stop all of this before it's all dragged into chaos, you can't do it all by yourself." Maisie: "Uh, you got a point there, pal. But I didn't do it all alone. I had help and they're also a unbreakable family." Sonic: "Well, if I ever want to help you, you'll have to help me first. There's absolutely NO way you and your friends can do this by yourself. Also, we need to figure out why Robotnik created Biosyn to guard the Indigo Gem and ruining the locust epidemic." Tails: "Yeah, and you have to listen him VERY carefully." Harry: "And the Giganotosaurus was right. If we don't do something fast, he's gonna kill us all before dawn, just as his plan was predicted." Hermione: "A deadly giant robotic dinosaur bigger than Godzilla." Fridge: "Wow, that blue devil is clever." Bethany: "Clever as Martha and I." Sonic: "Why, thank you, Fridge." Kayla: "Okay, so, we good to find a way out of here?" Tom: "Absolutely." Kayla: "Let's get it. There's helicopter out in the main complex. We turn the ADS back on, then we all go home." Charmy: "ADS?" Martha: "What's an ADS?" Vector: "I don't know what it stands for." Kayla: "Aerial Deterrent System. *Martha was confused for a moment.* You know, for the pterodactyls and crap. Keeps them away from the helicopters." Cream: "I guess that makes more sense to me, Ms. Kayla." Maisie: "Well, how do we turn it back on?" Claire: "Okay, it looks like all the systems run through to the control room which is on the third floor." Espio: "All those outposts are connected underground." Hector: "Aye. Might I suggest we follow the Captain." *Searching the round pillar in the center of the outpost, Tony, Owen and Tom found a hatch and waved Dr. Grant over. Working together, Tony, Owen, Tom and Alan pried the hatch open.* Tom: "Alright. Easy, Rambo." *They all climbed down the ladder to the dark hyperloop tunnel. Barbossa and Peter held up two lanterns, shining the tunnel to make sure nothing was coming towards them. The team headed toward the Biosyn complex. While Sonic talked to Maisie through the darkness, Tony, Owen, Ian and Tom brought up the rear.* Ian: "So you worked in a the raptor pen, huh?" Tony: "Yeah, absolutely. Seven years ago, but then, Owen decided to join the Avengers to become Earth's mightiest hero of all time." Ian: "Wow, and what happens? Do you two just tell them what they do and they, uh, comply or? . . ." Owen: "Well, it's a human/animal bond based mutual respect." Ian: "Huh. Had a dog once. Humped my leg so much, I. . . I got a callous on my shinbone. That's a true story." Tom: "Really?"
