I just want to cry.you remind me when i visit melbourn last february .it was my first journy to Australia i spent a wonderul time with my brother who lives there.this journey makes back to life again after my dear husband dead.love Australia.I am so sorry i had changed the whole subject.!!!

Tail camera was the best part. Watching that during landing would make me relaxed and less anxious. Because from side window it looks like we are going to crash

omg i wish qatar airways had that feature :( i recently flew from doha to sydney (usually we would go doha to dubai, dubai to sydney but now there is a direct route) and we were landing it felt like we were going t o crash in the water. it was so scary. the landing was great though lol, no bumps or screeches at all.

You can never go wrong flying with Emirates! Sydney is also awesome - a walk along the harbour bridge is recommended!
Why all the hate on people who use business class? so what its expensive? Did you even read the name of the class "Business".
Some people, like my dad for example, they need to travel a lot in their work, like for example my dad went to China and France just in this 2 weeks, so if someone travels a lot and has the money why would he in hell stay in economy with no leg room, stuck with tons of people in small area with no privacy at all ? and remember business has more than you think, not just the better seat, greater service, better food, better bathroom, even in the 2-3 hours in the airport before/after the flight you get into a special business class hub, and you will have a private driver to take you / bring you to the airport and to/from the hotels.
You're right and a lot of time business class flyers have to be at a meeting right after a very long flight. There's no way they can be refreshed, if they were flying economy.

the difference appeared when you went to the lower deck

its just more efficient as their new first and business lounge offers direct access to the gates that have the upper deck tubes,, if economy was on the upper deck then they'd also be the confusion by some passengers on which deck their located in. This configuration clears it out where u have 2 access tubes for economy and 1 for first and bzns

We did the journey the other way - business class from Sydney to Dubai - great experience
I've only done 4 long range (12 to 13 hours from Frankfurt to Beijing/Shanghai and back) flights in my life, but those were between 2003 and 2005 in Boeing 747. Economy class. No TV screen back then. It was so tedious and soul crushingly boring. Back then I also didn't have a smart phone. All I could do was to try to read and listen to music and audio books from my primitive 4 GB MP3 player. It was really cold in the cabin and my ears were popping all the time, as if the plane would have changed altitude constantly over the whole 12/13 hour flight. I can only assume there was something wrong with the pressurizing system. But then again, it was like that in all 4 flights/planes, so I guess the 747 just sucked that way.
Even for economy class, it was an unacceptably grueling experience.
When we flew into turbulences, I even enjoyed that, because it was a nice distraction and the nicest thing that happened during the whole flight.

You guys ever notice that it's perfectly acceptable for a first class person to wonder about photographing every cabin but if a economy class person does that, they probably get asked to sit down and return to their class.
Simply because in Economy you can only stay in Economy in First Class you can go any where since your not going to steal an Economy seat when you've paid for First Class... Besides I think it's fair. First Class costs about 4X more than economy tickets...
Faizan Mahmood Makes good sense to me. They pay for the whole plane, and should be respected as such, so long as they don't kick me out of my seat. :) I'll walk the entire aircraft on my next flight in Business (or First, if I can get lucky).
Big part of what you pay for in first is exclusivity. So no they don't let economy passengers go roaming around in it.
Haha yup. I refuse to show any respect to the rich and pampered. They put on their pants and sit on toilet just like everyone else. The rich snobs expect all the budget travelers to bow down to them like they're better than everyone else. Haha...no respect from me. That's for sure. I will go where ever I please. Oh they have lots of money..good for them. Probably a huge inheritance from Mommy and Daddy or a lot of sucking butt in their job to get to their pay grade.

Watching in 2021, not really used to watch this vide, there are significant difference compare to video in recent years:
Missing world map at the beginning;
The font (sometimes showing at the top of video :) ;
Short time showing business lounge;
Shows the entire flight safety instructions;
Faster pace showing the menu;
Close up showing amenity kits;

Going on the A380 from Manchester to Dubai on 1st of april and then B777 from Dubai to Islamabad. First time i'm going on emirates last time I went was over 10 years ago as a little kid. So should be fun!!

I got free upgrade to business class at the boarding gate by no reason the second time I flied with Emirates. A380 Dubai to New York. That was and awesome trip. I still can't figure out why I got the upgrade. Miss the music.
Normally when economy is overbooked they offer free upgrades,, but mostly to skyward members pf higher tiers like gold and silver members..
I hope that, Insha'ALLAH, one day I will be able to experience such bliss of traveling by air with freedom. I have traveled with Emirates before and the experience was phenomenal.

I was in the exactly same seat while flying from Mauritius to Dubai. Outstanding experience and lovely stewardesses doing amazing job. I've spent most of my time standing by the bar ☺️. Anyway, nice video, You brought back memories. Thanks 👏💪

Emirates was the first airline in the world to have a ptv in the economy class and it was back in 1992.
I laughed at how depressing the coach looks compared to the other classes.

Who do you think has funded inventions? ever since the creation of currency, those with the most resources have contributed the most to our evolution as a civilization. That being said, you shouldn't bow down to someone due to their wealth. Personality traits both good and bad vary no matter the size of your bank account. Don't paint everyone with the same brush.
Derpy Mcherpsun Bigger is better is an absolute myth in airplanes for those in economy. It takes over an hour to get 500 plus people onto that thing and the center seats in economy can be miserable if you're stuck next to 2 strangers. Hitting baggage claim with 500 plus other passengers is also a real joy. The A380 is impressive engineering, but a smaller plane is more pleasant in economy class.

Bobshouse Showers are only for First Class
1st class airline have travelled business class with them a few times and would not want to fly with anyone else staff and service is excellent could not ask for better (and the bar at the back on the A380 is fantastic)

Really luxury...but if they have kept the Concorde in service, you wouldn't need all that because you would be landing in 1/3 of the A380 flight time. Only a few hours, you wouldn't need much entertainment and sleeping space.

lesxxx1004 It actually can be a LOT more then twice the price of economy. I will be going to Africa next year from Melbourne (Australia). Economy is around $2,000 return and Business is 7-8k. I haven't decided what to do yet.

In my travels I have gone from my home city to many destinations using different carriers on the same trips over the years. In my humble opinion the best is Emirates for service, entertainment, beautiful hostesses for all classes. It's as though national pride comes first rather than the money. Few airline can do that! The only down side especially if it's the month of Ramadan there are limitations on serving alcohol & they don't serve pork, but fair enough, respect for others beliefs! You will find the same on all other Arabic airlines like Qatar, Etihad.

I've flown Emirates twice in business class from JFK to Dubai and the food and service were first rate.

Europeans did not know everything on their own. They bought parts from China and elsewhere. They bought skilled labor from India and elsewhere to build those aircraft. One of my Indian friend works for Airbus. He is not even European.

Oh this is one of the most ugly cabins in the sky. All that awful shiny walnut veneer, gold trim ... I'd never pay to fly in that. The cabin needs to make me feel good. this would make me feel nausea all the way.

+Stanley Chackappan Actually a lot of people think Emirates has tacky cabins. The gold is a bit much and the color of the wood is dated. Asian carriers like Garuda, Cathay and Japan are far more aesthetically pleasing to me. They are typically neutral colors with very dark woods and sleek, minimal lines. So I don't think Rich is jealous, he just has a more sophisticated aesthetic.

I flew business class with Emirates from Birmingham to Hong Kong via Dubai on the A380... Such an amazing experience!! Love the video, it brings back memories! My seat was in the centre isle 3 from the front. I kept the wash bags and the eye masks lol. I'm 6" 3 so didn't quite fit in the seat in 'bed mode' but it was still pretty comfy.
I'd like one day to fly with emirates! The best ever!
