Wonderful reaction to one of my absolute favorites from her! (The original version is absolutely amazing as well). Diana absolutely embodies each and every song she sings in her own unique style. Another of her earlier performances when she was 13 is “Joan of Arc”, the school performance or the performance with the movie background is absolutely amazing. “Me Voy” at this same performance when she was younger is also amazing.She just redid this also recently. “What a Wonderful World” with Brandon Stone for New Year’s Day is absolutely “Wonderful” to listen to as well. Девушка, это ПЕСНЯ драматическая, в которой под бегом лошадей подразумевается бег времени. Жизнь человека проходит быстро и вот уже близко смерть, а он не успел сделать в своей жизни, то что наметил. ДИАНА не может выдержать этой трагедии, у неё из глаз идут слёзы.
Песня с очень глубоким и трагическим содержанием - о быстротечности человеческой жизни... Диана Анкудинова гениально передаёт её смысл, у меня всегда слёзы... 👏👏👏👑👑👑❤️❤️❤️

Vladimir Vissotsky, who wrote the original, was a singer / songwriter, who was forbidden by the Soviet government, as far as I know, because of his critical texts. I didn't know this song before, but Diana really sang with so much power and passion that, although I read the english lyrics and knew what the song is about, I would have got emotional even without the translation. And your final words after the song hit the nail on the head ! I couldn't have explained it any better. Diana doesn't only sing a song, she LIVES the song and - as you said it - ACTS the song. This song is a tragic-philosophical song, one of Vysotsky's most intimate songs. : Horses are a symbol of the capers and the speed of life. The hero of the song drives horses along a cliff over an abyss through wind and fog. He feels that the end is near and asks the horses not to obey the whip and to gallop 'a little slower'. He dreams of standing on the sidelines for a moment to water the horses. He hasn't had time to live and can't even finish his song. * Who was the songwriter? Vladimir Semjonovich Vysotsky (1938-1980) was a Russian poet, actor and singer, inconvenient for the state but the people loved him. In his songs he sang about topics that officially did not exist in the Soviet Union: prostitution, crime, anti-Semitism. He is still known and popular today in Russia, where he is considered the greatest songwriter of the 20th century. He always played his songs on a 7-string guitar. Vysotsky died in 1980. His funeral took place during the Moscow Olympics. The Soviet media did not mention his death. But the news spread like wildfire, and the funeral turned into the largest non-state demonstration Moscow had ever seen. In a 2018 survey of the most important personalities in Russia of the 20th century, Vysotsky came in second behind Yuri Gagarin.
