Im definitely a dignitas fan, but GarrettG is easily my favorite pro. He's not only fun to watch, hes also a great role model as a person. Can't wait to see him continue to grow in his career

@@ak42069 Wouldnt say theyre washed lol, but they definitely underperformed like a lot of teams that usually are at the top. NRG literally placed the same as Dignitas in the Spring Major, and I wouldnt call NRG washed

By far. The only thing that would've potentially matched that is if Kronovi had retired after leaving G2 in 2019. But now, nothing will beat Garrett's eventual retirement.
Even though I am not an NRG fan at all, you just cannot hate GarrettG. He is always so wholesome and also never toxic. Just the perfect example of a great RLCS player on and off the pitch.
And that redirect during the Stockholm major has to be the nastiest redirect I have ever seen in RLCS.
Same. I've never really been an NRG fan as well but the man has been around so long and he's been so consistent from season to season that it's incredible he's able to play at the top level for so long and not get burnt out on it. Not to mention, he's one of the nicest people in RLCS ever.
I've always said that if Turbo was the Greatest of All-Time in RLCS History then Garrett is the Best of All-Time in RLCS history. Greatness is achievements, Best is lvl of play.

There are very few people who have been at the very top of a game for the entirety of its life. And that’s over every game. Garrets done it in rocket league. One of the fastest changing, fastest paced games. Nothing but respect bc that is crazy. To change with the game and learn the mechanics as they come to be better than almost everyone else that’s playing is nuts. Garret in my opinion is the goat of rocket league.

The recovery goal at 2:00 is still one of the best goals of all time to me, as it isn't reliant on fancy mechanical training or some new mechanic, but just good reflexes and pure skill. 10/10.

most incredible thing about garett is, that he manages to stay on top of rocket league...he is always able to change his playstyle, to adapt to the "meta" of Rocket League and never dissappoints. For me, the best Rocket League Player of all time, just because of his consistency.

I will say, you can say what you're want about him showing up on the biggest stage but no player has been regarded as a star in RLCS from Season 1 to now. That puts him right up there with Turbo and Kaydop in my opinion.
