21:55 that sound is the indicator for a backstab or critical hit. The enemies are spawning on top of the fire while they are in an inactive state (they dont see a target to attack) so they are taking backstab damage. It's also why, earlier in the video the 1 star that spawned first took less damage from the fire then the second one, because the first one saw you before touching the flames

Another option, later game of course, is to fill the pit with wolves. 2 star preferably but 1 stars work just fine. A small army of 4 or 5 will eat them all for lunch, they'll stagger most of the bigger ones fast enough they can't do any damage. Have a breeder off the side with a means to bring them into the killing pit without the other stuff escaping and you're golden.

    My method for teleporting metals.
Create a second world. We'll call this the storage world.
Build a storage shack. Nothing fancy.
Login to main world. Go adventure gather your ores.
When you're inventory is full log out of the main world and log into the storage world. Deposit your items. And go back to the main world. Then all you have to do is teleport back to your house and log into the storage world collect the loot and go back to the main world. It's a lot of load screens but can be way faster than carrying the stuff back.

Everyone probably knows about this now.
But you could also put X number of two star wolfs in a hole under the spawner, and they will kill the Greydwarfs.
And throw some meat in there so the wolfs can heal.

      @360lootgoon3 Před 11 měsíci

This is actually the best way for the greydwarf farm now. Using the hearth/brazier method requires very frequent and constant repairing, as the devs now made it so that whenever a fire source deals damage, it also takes damage.
Just stand on your bonfire or hearth for a couple seconds and see how much health it loses. It’s quite rapid, meaning even a quick trip to the bathroom could result in the farm breaking.
I prefer wolves over lox, as lox are massive and risk hitting the greydwarf spawner, plus wolves are just easier to transport and to set up a secondary breeder near the farm for reinforcements, if needed.

Saw a guide that I decided to go with after the SelfDamage nerf to Campfires/Bonfires/Hearths, although it is an absolute pain in the ass of waiting to set up:
2-star tamed wolves. Dig a pit below the spawner, fill with the 2Star wolves, put down workbenches strategically hidden to make sure loot doesn't despawn, throw in a stack or two of raw meat, go AFK. Every 30 min or so, block the top with roofs (you just need a small central column uncovered either way) to stop spawning and gather the loot, aswell as letting the wolves heal and produce more wolves if any died, repeat. Sourounded it with 2 sets of Terrain Walls aswell, first 1, then a moot down to water level (my spawner was pretty low down) then another wall. Prevents the wolves from aggroing anything outside, and makes the farm secure from everything except for Frost Drake event.

This is an interesting concept. The last time I destroyed a Greydwarf Spawner, I did wonder if there was anything I could do with it instead of destroying it.

    1. Making a new world just for transferring those stuff (or load one if you already have)
    2. Put your items in a chest
    3. Go back to your original world and use your portal
    4. Then go back to your other world, pick up all the non-transferable stuff.

Login to original server and port to ore destination. Logout. Login to second server and grab all the ore from the chests. Logout.
