- Tarpon Springs, Florida, is one of my favorite day trips from Tampa. It is a great small town in Florida to visit. Their historic downtown area is a great place to spend the morning/day and of course, you have the Tarpon Springs sponge docks. This is a terrific video. I really enjoyed watching it. This past Saturday (4/15/23), a friend and I were on Dodecanese St. What a charming and cute town. She lives in Tarpon Springs and I live in Tampa. We are both from Connecticut and moved here to retire. It was my first time in the town. We stopped at Rusty Bellies and had a delicious lunch, went shopping then finished our day with a 1 hr cruise. My friend and I had a wonderful time. I will be returning. Thank you for the video of this quaint and lovely town. 😊😊

@@SuiteLifeSanburg The food at Rusty Bellies is outstanding. I decided to be adventurous and had ceviche as an appetizer. I never had ceviche. It was delicious and so fresh. The red snapper meal was to die for and the key lime pie was excellent. If you ever have a chance to go to Rusty Bellies I don't think you will be disappointed. A helpful tip: To avoid waiting 30-60 minutes for a table, make reservations. It's a very popular place.
