the lack of poppy in all of those events is infuriating, yeah, she's there, but they barely even mention her. She being the most resolute fighter of them all and the most faithful to the first star should arrise conflict between her and ahri, but I guess yordles aren't important (if they aren't lulu)

Xayah and Rakan both got a Redeemed Star Guardian skin in wildrift with new voicelines like "I will never betray the First Light ever again. -Rakan" so Most likely they got uncorrupted in the new story but I really think its only Xayah that got uncorrupted and Rakan died as a result, with his Redeemed SG skin as a "What-If" scenario. Most of the promotions in wildrift shows Xayah with all the other characters with a silhouette of Rakan looking down from the sky.
actually imo thw wr team are actually the old team the team before kaisa's team, since in the promotional art for wr the wr sg team was shown with ahri and also miss fortune, but it could been that only lux passed while ahri and mf are still alive and with the wr team, for rakan I don't think he's dead I kinda think he still in Zoe control so the team are going to save him

Including the anime Expo 3d thing that was a few days ago so its very possible that Xayah was the only one redeemed at first due to Rakan sacrificing his corruption to help Xayah, and Xayah went to create a new team consisting of Ori, Sera, and Senna to help them get Rakan back while Ahri and MF trying to help them
I think the lore would revolve around Xayah and the wild rift gang saving Rakan after he becomes fully corrupted after saving Xayah. The animation of their showcase models in wild rift tells a story.
My theory is Zilean's latest lore of him talking to other people on other dimensions would most likely be the case of connecting all multi verse, the common denominator will be Aurelion Sol.
I like the theory surrounding that the lux statue is hinting that she may have passed however xayah is included in one of the trailers we got from rito for the star guardian event - I do hope other guardians like my boy rakan get some showtime with the visual novel (he totally deserves love and a prestigious skin to boot since xayah got one)
I feel like it’d be a really cool, really dark twist if somehow Rakan healed Xayah leading to his own death. After all, he didn’t really seem to care too much about hunting neeko, he seemed to just be trying to help Xayah
As a rakan main one thing I always looked forward to was that he wasn't fully corrupted by Zoe, id love if they continue the story he eventually joins back up with ahri in the hopes to purify xayah They mention xayah in the visual novel clips so I don't think they'll be completely out of the picture

Biding his time to strike, he has a plan to purify the darkness from Xayah’s heart… though the price may be losing himself to evil forever. Which would fit with the Wild Rift Redeemed Xayah skin they showed us.. .

*Not mentioned in the video:* The first group of Star Guardians were *Syndra, Janna, Harp (Likely FiddleSticks), Gwen, Zoe.* -Zoe went insane because of Grief & Rage (Twilight Star) -Harp turned into a monster (FiddleSticks most likely) -Syndra lived (Syndra found a new team (Ahri, Ms Fortune, Ezreal, etc) -Janna found another team and helped/instruct them on how to handle their powers, what a guardian is, etc. (With Lulu, Poppy, Lux and Jinx.) *-Gwen was killed (likely by Zoe) and sealed inside a Doll. I’m unsure of how she was set free but when she did she had lost so much time and was unsure what the Star Guardians have turned into* (She’s in LoR)*
Lux having a monument doesn't have to mean it's because of a dark twist. it's even more probable that they had a happy ending. this new story could be set in a far future where it's peaceful (for now at least) thanks to the previous Star Guardians, and that statue was built in honor of them, there could be other statues too not just of Lux.

The voice lines of the skins imply people think Lux is dead possibly having turned to stone after a final battle with Zoe (like she burned out). However I think the Visual novel has some line that implies that Lux and Ahri both have statues for saving the city, and that its a metaphor. That all that people have left of their heroes are statues. We know Lux and Ahri both survived the battle with Zoe that Kai'sa and Akali reference in the visual novel. So either Zoe comes back later and Lux burns herself out to save the city. OR its supposed to be symbolic of how people who get hero statues tend to be dead. "Stop it Kai'sa do you want to end up a statue like lux?" could mean Lux is literally the statue OR that Kai'sa is trying to martyr herself in a heroic act and will only be left as a statue symbolically. In regards to what everyone else is doing. Xayah, Ahri, Miss Fortune have teamed up with Oriana, Senna, and Seraphine to try and find and redeem Rakan. Jinx, Soraka, Kai'sa during a monster killing mission find Gwen. What everyone else is doing is kinda weird but I'm pretty sure they are all fighting in a mission considering they haven't shown up in the Visual novel despite Kai'sa and Akali going to the same school they go too.
We got confirmation that Hask, Zoe and Gwen were the first SG team so at least we got background on why Zoe went crazy. As per the new updated Star Guardian website in the meet the Guardians section. Hask fell to despair and became a monster and Zoe lost it because she lost both her teammates. Gwen was trapped or killed by Hask and turned into a doll and was rescued by Jinx, Lulu and Raka in the current event. Lux may be dead as per Akali and Kaisa voicelines and the statue in the city is commemorative since the Star Guardians aren't a secret anymore. Edit: SG MV 2022 confirms Lux died and passed her mantle onto Kai'Sa.
My guess is that they haven’t died. Just as how Ahri’s team was from a different corner of the universe, so will Kaisa’s. I do think that Kaisa’s interactions with the other guardians in game can be considered canon. I don’t see any reason for it not to be. Her statue could be more of an inspiration for “defeating” one of the corrupted stars, also found in the interactions.

No wonder they can't defeat the Baron Nashor of Darkness without Jinx, they don't have the dps star guardian. And i can imagine Zoe, Xayah and Rakan can't kill Neeko fast enough in the context of urf and Neeko have full cooldown reduction built.
Zoe had a good dodge on neeko ult with her own ult, and rakan blocked the ult for xayah (how?), so they should have beat neeko, but ahri had to come in for the cleanup, and with her new ult having resets, it shouldnt be to hard
my theory; Zoe actually got corrupted by fiddle, making her bad. she went on corrupting others for fiddle. Lux and Ahri decided to find more members to be able to defeat zoe who later gets joined by fiddle. Rakan wasnt fully corrupted but he stayed with xayah so he will prob die to uncorrupt xayah. Xayah wants revenge and now fights in honor of rakan instead of the first star
Actually rakan have a redeemed skin with xayah in WR so I guess after xayah got redeemed she will save rakan, thats what the animation is for the skin of both Redeemed SG Xayah and Rakan
Star Guardian website confirms that Zoe got corrupted because her teammate fell to the corruption and attacked Gwen and trapped her. Their name is Hask which may or may not be Fiddlesticks.
I just want to see Fiddlesticks and how he fits into this, from what I saw of his skin it looks like he’s the one in control of Zoe, I mean his skin is called Star Nemesis.
Nope, he was apart of the first original star guardian team. Zoe,Gwen,Janna,Syndra and harp(fiddlesticks). Harp was killed in combat by the protecting the first star and in turn caused Zoe to go mad with grief at her friends death thus making her twist her powers into cosmic madness and hunt down the star guardians since she disapproved of the first star. I believe that Star Nemesis are just star guardians that fell to the dark star’s darkness or believe and follow the will of the dark star. In Star Nemesis Morgana bio she says that people do not respect the darkness of the universe and is aiming to return it to a state of entropy.
I've been thinking maybe Aurelion Sol is the First Star.. He's also gonna be the Ultimate Skin and he's going to come out when the big fight between the guardians and the evils ignite. I'm looking forward to a cinematic with all the guardians in it. Not like the Absolution where there's only selected sentinels.
Man, SG has been living rent free in my mind ever since the release of Lux's team. I'd been imagining fanfics in my head for so long that I guess disappointment was inevitable. I'm generally still happy with the canon (we'll see where they go from here), but I think I better release my disappointment in something creative (like a fanfic) rather than just let it boil. Anyway, about the actual lore, I think the stories themselves are good, but they're a bit held back. We barely got 4 stories and 2-3 cinematics for lore than spans planets and generations. It'd be good if it could be something like a multi season tv show. But that's unlikely. I'm glad they making the visual novel, and I hope they expand the lore further through various means. One personal grip I have with Star Guardian (and I guess with the few magical girl shows I've seen so far) is that there's so much theming with space and stuff, but I wish they'd take more stuff directly from astronomy. Not astrology, astronomy.
Also dont forget the Prestige Neeko and Soraka powerups Neeko got a powerup when reinforcements arrived and they defeated Zoe Soraka got a powerup when Rakan gave his light to Xayah and with Sorakas healing ..Xayah was uncorrupted These 2 prestiges are canon! (Syndra and Ekko are not tho)
At this point just make an anime out of this story so far. Start with Lux (or even Ahris old team vs Zoe as kind of prologue), then just put a ton of filler and side arcs in and you can milk this for a few years. Better than them resolving everything within a few sentences.
If Madoka Magika taught me anything about magical girls, the first two waves of Star Guardians dying off would be possible. All of the tributes would be to them. As for the new team, with all of the giant billboards, I'm assuming are publicly known figures and essentially super stars. Personal lives may be secret, but the Guardians are very much recognized by the larger public
If they're not in the promotional stuff it doesn't exactly mean they're dead. Riot probably just focusing on the new skins for marketing purposes. The older skins don't need to be apart of every thing to have an impact on the next part of the lore. Also sg Ahri along with mf will still be in WR so assuming they have a part in the redemption Ark with Xayah and Rakan they're still around.
well some lore they left out is from neeko and sorakas prestige skins lore where after the battle with zoe they where able to save xayah but sadly weren't able to save rakan maybe cause the toll of preventing xayah from falling to far finally took its toll and corrupted him further i hope we get some cinematic flash backs threw xayah showing her getting rescued but having to leave rakan behind to save the groups life to then present day where rakan has resurfaced and xayah, seraphine, oriana, senna, mf and ahri go after him to try and bring him back form the corruption

My guess is either Lux died or got turned into stone (sorta mentioned in SG Akali’s VL) perhaps by Fiddlesticks? Ik there’s some rivalry between Morgana and Kai’sa but not much was explained through the voice lines. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
From what's come out so far, it seems you were right. There was a massive invasion one year prior to this setting, where Zoe attacked VC. And the new Guardians were present, and are to this day traumatized by it. One dialogue mentioned specifically how "Lux is no longer here". I think Zoe went full Infinity War on the Guardians and succeeded in killing the previous generation, at the cost of being defeated herself.
they still have the codes for all previous game modes, just make it so that every week during the event a now discontinued game mode is playable for that week, changing every week, literally re release is with the former stats the champs had during those game modes, that'll be quite inexpensive, and new players and nostalgic players will definitely check them out before its gone.
I do hope they include Lux and Ahri’s teams in this new event and unite them with Kaisa’s team. Poppy and Syndra were my 2 favorites, and the inclusion of yordles and other light hearted champs like Ezreal makes the story not so dark.
Adding characters like Ezreal killed ptevious events... I hate adding dumb comic relief or breaking characterizations just to lighten up the story. That type of approach killed immersion in the previous events because they failed to take their characters seriously. Tbey made everyone a joke version of themselves. No thanks.

This event is really big with how the teasers looked and I'm really scared that this might turn into an UwU Pastel Version of Ruination where they would introduce popular characters and just abandon the ones that ACTUALLY matter for the lore. i dont think they died, i think they've just disbanded after their fight with zoe OR they're just not being showed in the teasers but will definitely be in the story since riot wants to focus more on the new skins
Wild rift have redeemed SG xayah and rakan, and SG seraphine. League Pc have 2 batch of SGs without the 3 mentioned earlier. by the looks of it, PC version and wild rift might have 2 separate (but probably connected) stories during in the starguardian event.
It will be a shame if Ugrot does not appear in VN. Scary man at day, greatest SG fan at night. If he appears, it will be hilarious. SG Kai'sa has interaction with Star Guardian Urgot, so I have a bit of hope.

Zoe thought he would be pretty tired after all that. What she did not expect was one sentence, one thought to fill his head. "Make it stop". As the corruption took over a burst of rage and anger came from the new creature she created. As this thing charged at her, Zoe just used a portal to get some distance. She thought of finishing the corruption but after seeing its rampage Zoe opted not to as the bit of humanity it had kept him very, VERY angry." Corrupted Stare Guardian Sion. I'm worried, all the new skins look very cheerful and normal bright magical girl stuff we got in the first SG batch, Fiddle is the only one that looks like an expantion of the dark parts of star guardian. I hope we won't get another rise of the sentinals situation where extremly important characters are forgoten in favor of new ones.
Less Traumatic BadAss Jinx. Cool. It would be cool if they did a Multiverse reference in Arcane in Season 2,very least a brief mention after Jinx creates her Teleporter device. Maybe that is how Jinx escapes Vi,Caitlyn or Warwick in the Season 2 Finale. They have been telegraphing they will be killing off Jinx. So maybe Jinx's ace up her sleeve is her teleporter to another realm,never to be seen again.
my guess is its a jump into the future or some kinda alt timeline/ skip like power rangers basically is how they are doing this story wise. diff eras and teams so they dont write themselves into a corner and still can do whatever they want and it make sense

Hey Necrit, I have a confusion about the latest cinematic, when Ahri shows up with the 3 gems at the end. Green for Xayah, blue for Rakan, and yellow? For neeko? But neeko never died so how is it possible that Ahri has that gem damaged? A friend of mine claims she is Zoe's but Zoe has never been a part of Ahri's team so I doubt that.

Nah I genuinely think there isn’t gonna be a Void event. For one thing, I imagine they’d want a break after the MASSIVE Ruination event, and for another thing there just… hasn’t been any evidence for a large scale Void event? All the stuff with Bel’Veth feels like it’s setting up a future story. Like, far future. Like “AURELION SOL IS GONNA DESTROY TARGON” or “MORDEKAISER IS GONNA RETURN” kind of far future.

Lux having a monument doesn't have to mean it's because of a dark twist. it's even more probable that they had a happy ending. this new story could be set in a far future where it's peaceful (for now at least) thanks to the previous Star Guardians, and that statue was built in honor of them, there could be other statues too not just of Lux.

The voice lines of the skins imply people think Lux is dead possibly having turned to stone after a final battle with Zoe (like she burned out). However I think the Visual novel has some line that implies that Lux and Ahri both have statues for saving the city, and that its a metaphor. That all that people have left of their heroes are statues. We know Lux and Ahri both survived the battle with Zoe that Kai'sa and Akali reference in the visual novel.
So either Zoe comes back later and Lux burns herself out to save the city. OR its supposed to be symbolic of how people who get hero statues tend to be dead. "Stop it Kai'sa do you want to end up a statue like lux?" could mean Lux is literally the statue OR that Kai'sa is trying to martyr herself in a heroic act and will only be left as a statue symbolically.
In regards to what everyone else is doing. Xayah, Ahri, Miss Fortune have teamed up with Oriana, Senna, and Seraphine to try and find and redeem Rakan. Jinx, Soraka, Kai'sa during a monster killing mission find Gwen.
What everyone else is doing is kinda weird but I'm pretty sure they are all fighting in a mission considering they haven't shown up in the Visual novel despite Kai'sa and Akali going to the same school they go too.
We got confirmation that Hask, Zoe and Gwen were the first SG team so at least we got background on why Zoe went crazy. As per the new updated Star Guardian website in the meet the Guardians section.
Hask fell to despair and became a monster and Zoe lost it because she lost both her teammates. Gwen was trapped or killed by Hask and turned into a doll and was rescued by Jinx, Lulu and Raka in the current event. Lux may be dead as per Akali and Kaisa voicelines and the statue in the city is commemorative since the Star Guardians aren't a secret anymore.
Edit: SG MV 2022 confirms Lux died and passed her mantle onto Kai'Sa.

My guess is that they haven’t died. Just as how Ahri’s team was from a different corner of the universe, so will Kaisa’s. I do think that Kaisa’s interactions with the other guardians in game can be considered canon. I don’t see any reason for it not to be. Her statue could be more of an inspiration for “defeating” one of the corrupted stars, also found in the interactions.
or it could be that the "dead" starguardians cant use their powers anymore because they grown out of beeing teenagers and now the others step into their footsteps
No wonder they can't defeat the Baron Nashor of Darkness without Jinx, they don't have the dps star guardian.
And i can imagine Zoe, Xayah and Rakan can't kill Neeko fast enough in the context of urf and Neeko have full cooldown reduction built.
Zoe had a good dodge on neeko ult with her own ult, and rakan blocked the ult for xayah (how?), so they should have beat neeko, but ahri had to come in for the cleanup, and with her new ult having resets, it shouldnt be to hard

my theory; Zoe actually got corrupted by fiddle, making her bad. she went on corrupting others for fiddle. Lux and Ahri decided to find more members to be able to defeat zoe who later gets joined by fiddle. Rakan wasnt fully corrupted but he stayed with xayah so he will prob die to uncorrupt xayah. Xayah wants revenge and now fights in honor of rakan instead of the first star
Actually rakan have a redeemed skin with xayah in WR so I guess after xayah got redeemed she will save rakan, thats what the animation is for the skin of both Redeemed SG Xayah and Rakan

I just want to see Fiddlesticks and how he fits into this, from what I saw of his skin it looks like he’s the one in control of Zoe, I mean his skin is called Star Nemesis.
Nope, he was apart of the first original star guardian team. Zoe,Gwen,Janna,Syndra and harp(fiddlesticks). Harp was killed in combat by the protecting the first star and in turn caused Zoe to go mad with grief at her friends death thus making her twist her powers into cosmic madness and hunt down the star guardians since she disapproved of the first star.
I believe that Star Nemesis are just star guardians that fell to the dark star’s darkness or believe and follow the will of the dark star. In Star Nemesis Morgana bio she says that people do not respect the darkness of the universe and is aiming to return it to a state of entropy.
I've been thinking maybe Aurelion Sol is the First Star.. He's also gonna be the Ultimate Skin and he's going to come out when the big fight between the guardians and the evils ignite. I'm looking forward to a cinematic with all the guardians in it. Not like the Absolution where there's only selected sentinels.

Man, SG has been living rent free in my mind ever since the release of Lux's team. I'd been imagining fanfics in my head for so long that I guess disappointment was inevitable. I'm generally still happy with the canon (we'll see where they go from here), but I think I better release my disappointment in something creative (like a fanfic) rather than just let it boil.
Anyway, about the actual lore, I think the stories themselves are good, but they're a bit held back. We barely got 4 stories and 2-3 cinematics for lore than spans planets and generations. It'd be good if it could be something like a multi season tv show. But that's unlikely. I'm glad they making the visual novel, and I hope they expand the lore further through various means.
One personal grip I have with Star Guardian (and I guess with the few magical girl shows I've seen so far) is that there's so much theming with space and stuff, but I wish they'd take more stuff directly from astronomy. Not astrology, astronomy.

At this point just make an anime out of this story so far. Start with Lux (or even Ahris old team vs Zoe as kind of prologue), then just put a ton of filler and side arcs in and you can milk this for a few years. Better than them resolving everything within a few sentences.
If Madoka Magika taught me anything about magical girls, the first two waves of Star Guardians dying off would be possible. All of the tributes would be to them.
As for the new team, with all of the giant billboards, I'm assuming are publicly known figures and essentially super stars. Personal lives may be secret, but the Guardians are very much recognized by the larger public

If they're not in the promotional stuff it doesn't exactly mean they're dead. Riot probably just focusing on the new skins for marketing purposes. The older skins don't need to be apart of every thing to have an impact on the next part of the lore. Also sg Ahri along with mf will still be in WR so assuming they have a part in the redemption Ark with Xayah and Rakan they're still around.
well some lore they left out is from neeko and sorakas prestige skins lore where after the battle with zoe they where able to save xayah but sadly weren't able to save rakan maybe cause the toll of preventing xayah from falling to far finally took its toll and corrupted him further i hope we get some cinematic flash backs threw xayah showing her getting rescued but having to leave rakan behind to save the groups life to then present day where rakan has resurfaced and xayah, seraphine, oriana, senna, mf and ahri go after him to try and bring him back form the corruption
Plot twist Urgot comes and he's the real threat so Zoe and Ahri unite their forces and fight him :D

My guess is either Lux died or got turned into stone (sorta mentioned in SG Akali’s VL) perhaps by Fiddlesticks? Ik there’s some rivalry between Morgana and Kai’sa but not much was explained through the voice lines. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

From what's come out so far, it seems you were right. There was a massive invasion one year prior to this setting, where Zoe attacked VC. And the new Guardians were present, and are to this day traumatized by it. One dialogue mentioned specifically how "Lux is no longer here".
I think Zoe went full Infinity War on the Guardians and succeeded in killing the previous generation, at the cost of being defeated herself.

they still have the codes for all previous game modes, just make it so that every week during the event a now discontinued game mode is playable for that week, changing every week, literally re release is with the former stats the champs had during those game modes, that'll be quite inexpensive, and new players and nostalgic players will definitely check them out before its gone.
I do hope they include Lux and Ahri’s teams in this new event and unite them with Kaisa’s team. Poppy and Syndra were my 2 favorites, and the inclusion of yordles and other light hearted champs like Ezreal makes the story not so dark.

Adding characters like Ezreal killed ptevious events... I hate adding dumb comic relief or breaking characterizations just to lighten up the story. That type of approach killed immersion in the previous events because they failed to take their characters seriously. Tbey made everyone a joke version of themselves. No thanks.

This event is really big with how the teasers looked and I'm really scared that this might turn into an UwU Pastel Version of Ruination where they would introduce popular characters and just abandon the ones that ACTUALLY matter for the lore. Less Traumatic BadAss Jinx. Cool. It would be cool if they did a Multiverse reference in Arcane in Season 2,very least a brief mention after Jinx creates her Teleporter device. Maybe that is how Jinx escapes Vi,Caitlyn or Warwick in the Season 2 Finale. They have been telegraphing they will be killing off Jinx. So maybe Jinx's ace up her sleeve is her teleporter to another realm,never to be seen again.

Hey Necrit, I have a confusion about the latest cinematic, when Ahri shows up with the 3 gems at the end. Green for Xayah, blue for Rakan, and yellow? For neeko? But neeko never died so how is it possible that Ahri has that gem damaged? A friend of mine claims she is Zoe's but Zoe has never been a part of Ahri's team so I doubt that.
It is Neeko, but they assumed she was lost or dead which is why she appears with X&R as a broken gem

Nah I genuinely think there isn’t gonna be a Void event. For one thing, I imagine they’d want a break after the MASSIVE Ruination event, and for another thing there just… hasn’t been any evidence for a large scale Void event? All the stuff with Bel’Veth feels like it’s setting up a future story. Like, far future.
