Hello, I was using Dupont wires which you can get in any male/female combination and are designed for breadboards. I would attach one end to the distance sensor and the other into the breadboard. For the LED ring I cutoff the end of 3 of the dupont wires, stripped a bit off, and soldered it onto the led ring. This is the actual listing for the dupont wires I ordered: amzn.to/3UOgf4M .
