Transform Your Ugly Nintendo Switch, Shell Replacement!
I started by replacing the shell of a beat up Nintendo Switch and liked it so much we put transparent shells on all the switches in the house. Wait for the OLED backplate, it was so much more work!

    Thanks sharing . I have one Bambu P1s and one FLSun S1, When I need to print complex multi-color models, I fire up my P1S. When I'm printing larger models like helmets, I usually use the S1. I absolutely love them .

    Hi TK. I took delivery of a P1S six weeks ago, no previous experience whatsoever, result, a very steep learning curve. Overall, I’m very impressed with the P1S. Unpacking and setting-up was straightforward. Bambu’s online information is very comprehensive, and easy to follow. I didn’t bother printing a Benchy, instead I printed ‘useful’ objects, I found online (MakerWorld etc.). For example, desiccant containers for the AMS, poop chute, enhanced filament loaders, improved nozzle wiper, top extender to hold COB LEDS, which also prevents the PTF tube from rubbing on the glass top, the ‘Mouse’, a holder for a tp-link Tapo C110 video camera (used with the LED lights), and various tools. I can honestly say everything I’ve printed has exceeded my expectations, and by some margin. In addition, I’m very thankful to all those who produce reviews, print files, and allow me to download them. And those who provide information regarding how to get to grips with 3D printers, understand how to download, prepare prints in Bambu Studio, including slicing and printing, and then actually printing objects. I’ve just finished printing an 8 inch model of Gandalf, and the detail is impressive. My next step is to work out how to use the PLA Support filament, as supplied, to make it easier to detach the supports. Cheers Noel.

    Thank you sir you just unsold me on this printer. I think I will wait it out some more I already made one regrettable purchase, an ender 3 v2 neo I never had the time to unbox it or set it up and then the ender 3 V3 SE came out and I got that one since it was $140 and I paid $240 for the v2 neo not even a year before and the V3 SE is just so much better with a direct drive and auto Z. I wish I had waited before jumping in The SE is a great printer and as a beginner I have been printing with no problems since 30 min out of the box. I see the great prints at Microcenter that come off of the P1S but they are not worth the extra money compared to what I can do albeit much slower on a $140 machine. Even if you run a print farm it might be better to have 4 printers for the same price. If you have the real estate. I don't like the cloud idea look what happened last week. If the cloud is down you are SOL simple as I rather not rely on the cloud. Having lots of Smart home tech that does already has taught me that lesson the hard way.

    • @ziyuexu7668
      @ziyuexu7668 Před 19 dny

      The cloud isn’t everything, the printer has lan only mode which disconnects it from the cloud and the app to set up the printer he mentioned can be skipped. Also if you don’t want it on your wifi, it still accepts sd cards in the slot

      @@andreamitchell4758 bad luck? A couple prints failed. If you’re telling me you have never had a failed print I call bs. I’ve had a ender 3, and Neptune 3 max, a k1 max and now a p1s, and I gotta say it completely blows all the others out of the water. Print quality, speed and ease of use on the p1s are extremely good. Any error I’ve had has definitely been user error. The p1s for me has been the best printer I’ve owned so far. I did a few simple upgrades from stock just fyi.

      I haven't gotten that far into the settings, I'll have to check it out since it now sits near my network switches and I'd prefer to skip the cloud.

    I usually just use black and white. And have two spools of each colour in the AMS. This way when one spool is finished AMS automatically change to second one and continue to print. So convenient.

    • @7996hobguy
      @7996hobguy Před 19 dny

      Does that only work with the Bambu spools with RFID? Or can it be set up to go to the next spool with off brand filament?

    • @TKMakes-je3nn
      @TKMakes-je3nn Před 16 dny

      It can be setup to do that with any filament as long as you've defined what the filament in the AMS is in Bambu Studio

    • @TKMakes-je3nn
      @TKMakes-je3nn Před 3 měsíci

      Hello, I was using Dupont wires which you can get in any male/female combination and are designed for breadboards. I would attach one end to the distance sensor and the other into the breadboard. For the LED ring I cutoff the end of 3 of the dupont wires, stripped a bit off, and soldered it onto the led ring. This is the actual listing for the dupont wires I ordered: amzn.to/3UOgf4M . You can also find them with alligator clips while I'll sometimes use. Let me know if I answered your question!

    • @TKMakes-je3nn
      @TKMakes-je3nn Před 3 měsíci

      Hi! I don't have any upgrades so far. If you can find a quality cardboard tube of the same size you can cut a longer one storing more potential energy in each dart making them go farther. I would also look into a stronger IR remote like from a TV so you can control it from farther away but I haven't tested distance in my video using a new remote.
