It's Motiv, automatic thumbs up. I preordered mine drilled 60 X 4 1/2 X 30, the same layout I have on my Jackal Ambush, Mythic Jackal, and Revolt Uprising. I knew the cover would get dirty fast given what the Carbide Tank does. This ball has my favorite core in it, the Flux Core, which was also in the OG Thrill, Purple Tank, and the Desert Tank (my favorite ball in/used to be in the Motiv line). My goal was the shape you had at the end (banana) once the Jackal Ambush breaks the lanes down and the Mythic is to weak. (I don't throw the Revolt Uprising much). I don't think you will love this one as much as you love the Carbide but it might have a role in your bag at some point (like string bowling with no oil LOL kidding). Thanks for all you and your team does.
The Desert Tank is one of my favorites!! I wish I would have went a little stronger with the pin placement. 60x3 3/8x30 is what I should have went with instead of 60x4.5x30. Im hoping the (banana shape) all the pun intended, is where this ball allows me to play.If so it will find a way into my bag! I just don't like having to slow the ball down on dryer patterns. Moving down to 14lbs I’ve heard motiv has some really good balls in the 14lbs where the core doesn’t change drastically..
But my pro shop guy just recently told me motiv is complete 🗑️ 🤣 he says unless you have 500+revs like EJ Tackett motiv balls aren’t for everyone..
I have to say I disagree with your pro shop guy, Let me guess he pushes Brunswick or storm? Pro shops that are on staff with companies are very opinionated when it comes to other brands lol. That is why it is important for customers to do their own research. Every bowling ball company makes good pieces. It is about what gives the customer the best look or roll for their games. Pro Shops forget this some times. We are here to serve the bowlers and provide a service to better their game! We carry all Brands that are PBA approved and because we throw all brands we get a good feel for a lot of different companies. Motiv has been killing it this year. YOU DO NOT NEED REVS LIKE EJ TO BE SUCCESSfUL WITH MOTIV!! lol🤣
I left Ebonite and bowled with Storm/Roto Grip and Motiv. Motiv literally surprised me with the consistency. I never look back again and currently holds 12 Motiv balls with only four Storm/RG (Black Pitch, Hectic, IQ Tour Fusion, and Purple Hy-road). Black Venom is my favorite Motiv ball at this moment while Primal Shock and Venom Shock are great balls behind Black Venom depending on the lane condition. Pro shop tends to profit ALOT by promoting their partnership like EBI 7. @@XInThePit

@@mrsatan2229 no disrespect taken lol. The wood lanes are not very photogenic at all lol. This ball is good. I just don't like the shape of it. I have never had much success with urethane. or urethane like pieces. The Carbide Tank is amazing I still have one in my bag.
