Every 15 Minutes is a program focused on educating high school students about the dangers of drinking and driving and the life-altering consequences of those choices.

To the people questioning whether this is real or not. Of course it’s not real! Who the hell would allow a sentencing hearing to be held in a high school gym with bleachers full of students like it’s some kind of assembly?

And like there's 100+ people watching doing nothing when the actors are screaming for help, the cameraman was shown, and most of the "accidents" are made easily for safety like poles, bags and cardboard for the "wrecked cars"

Here in germany, the MAXIMUM punishment for neglient homicide is 5 years of prison.
And the difference is, that punishments are NOT added, the judge find a common punishment.

Some people write that before we're born we choose a life purpose, and agree to some conditions, glorious or tragic or anything in between, to try to make it happen.
Don't know if that's true. But it was a bit of comfort when I heard about each of the 5 traffic deaths over the years, losing people I knew well or learning that they'd caused it or survived.
Does a soul choose to die in a vehicle to make us aware & more careful / compassionate? What an amazing & hard-to-understand universe that would be....
In my thoughts that girl that was in jail did care and is hurt from it .. but at the same time I don't strongly think she cares to be honest.. my heart brakes and aches for the ones that has lost a loved one over careless and selfless minor thoughts think twice before u get in a vehicle with a drunk driver .. In Australia, she would have got around 10 years all up. Compare to the United States Australia Drink Driving laws are weak. Australia is very good at doing commercials about drink driving and giving out fines.
US laws can very greatly by state and even by specific cases.

@@caysonvernon7386 yes, it is a program organised by Schools and the Emergency Services to show Teens what happens when they drink and get behind the wheel or distracted by a text message. What i have noticed is that they don't treat the wounds of the person who has been arrested.

Why does the drunk driver ALWAYS live in these scenarios?
Think it's because they don't tense up on impact, kinda just noodle through it. Glad that they get to suffer with their own selfishness til the day they do die tho. Even when the drunk doesn't seem to care for the agony they've caused no one else will let them forget it. Yes, but it doesn’t match the video exactly. The caller says the drunk driver is a male, and that the teacher’s name is Miss Riggs. In the video the girl is driving, and the teacher has a different name. A minor point, because the video is outstanding, but I was a little confused.

My only suggestion to possibly make it look more real, is I think the paramedics should be moving a bit faster, they aren't rushing to the injured or rushing to hospitals. Just some friendly advice I don't mean any hate or disrespect. I appreciate these videos so much I've had my child watch before and it hit him home. Thank you to everyone who works so hard to make these videos. 🙏

She knew she was drunk and with the good past she had she shouldve know that you should never get behind a car while drunk. It’s just the fact. Their lives are over and owned by the law once they made that horrible decision to drive while intoxicated. Yes it sucks having to face prison time for the defendant but the lives that are changed and lost will never return nor get back to normal whatsoever and the defendant needs to understand that and have to face the consequences for a very long time. What the defendant has done was very wrong and should have thought about the consequences that follows before making that horrible decision to drive while intoxicated. That drink-driving, under California law, is treated as 2nd-degree murder when a death results, often means sentences that emphasize punishment, whilst giving drink-drivers convicted of having killed others through their conduct, practically no chance of turning their lives around. In Canada, life imprisonment is the maximum possible sentence for causing death by drink-driving, and should only typically be imposed on someone with a lengthy criminal driving record. In 2009, a life sentence was imposed on a drink driver who had admitted to killing a woman through through his conduct. his criminal record had shown that, prior to the drink-driving death he had caused, his criminal record had contained 17 drink-driving convictions.
David W I most certainly agree. Drunk driving with deadly result, should be treated differently then 2nd degree murder. I think that it for a couple of reasons: first of all, the convict doesn't have the intention of murdering someone, the convict also is unaware of what he or she is doing under the influence of alcohol, death is not solved by giving a harsh sentence, instead communication between the convict and the family should be vital, that would make things easier for the convict and the family of the victim(s). I also think it is certainly unfair to be locked away for your entire life for 1 offense of 2nd degree murder, people only live once, do you really have to break families and future's because of one event? But, I think the biggest reason is because the prisons are getting full because of those laws. Prison should be focused on rehabilitation, not for letting people rot away for 1 crime. Instead of locking a person away for life, an alternative should be searched. Of course, 2nd degree murder requires at least some jail time, I would say a maximum of 15 years. After that (in the case of drunk driving with deadly result), convicts should be put to work in hospitals with people who are either hurt because of drunk driving, or victim of drunk driving. That way, the convict is encouraged to change his or her way of life and reconsider their future. As you can probably see, I am against harsh sentencing, because it has proven to be ineffective. I do believe though, some people should be locked away for the safety of our society or the safety of themselves. I mean by this: 1st degree murder, rape and a high re-offending rate. Life in prison should always be with proper care, respect and treatment. Justice in the USA, is outdated, giving severe penalties for sometimes minor offences (even for things as non-violent drug offences). The future of the American court system should consist of more rehabilitation, and less severe punishments. I am still very young to talk about serious issues like this, but I think it is important to be talked about, otherwise there never will be change, and change is all we need.

how can these be real doctors having everybody that comes in that hospital when they try to bring them back with CPR or whatever shocking and whatever the doctor stays there does nothing and you got seven people around her doing nothing it doesn't make sense and then the nurse or the teacher they just let her don't even check her to see if they get the baby out
