I’m 9 months prego Rn & lemme tell y’all… I’m super exhausted between 10am-1pm. My groin kills me when I forget the pillow in between my legs. I can’t make it a block without my back feeling like it’s about to snap. I’m feeling fuller but always super thirsty. Standing is like worst! I’m so uncomfortable like all the time. BUT it’s aaaaaaaalllll so very extremely worth it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. What I can say is sitting on my pregnancy ball is like sitting on clouds and relieves all pressure everywhere.

I went to the hospital with my son and I was 3cm but my water didn't break. I was having terrible back pain and my labor wasn't progressing. They sent me home to sleep and relax and my water broke while I was napping the pain away. Later that day after baby was born my husband had to go home and wash everything and let the mattress air out to prepare for us to all go home. I'm so grateful he did that. At the time as a first time mom I had no idea what to expect. This time around I will have to get a pad if that happens again so we are more prepared. I'm currently 30weeks binge watching these videos.

In my last pregnancy my ankles swelled up so much, they were literally the size of grapefruits.
So with my second pregnancy I started wearing compression socks as soon as I found out I was pregnant and I’m 24 wks now and my ankles are still their normal size. And they’re not the super expensive ones, I get the all in motion compression socks from target. They come in packs of 2 for $12.

I'm 26 weeks. I've been trying walk on the treadmill for 30 min a day to keep my blood pressure in check. I got to a point where my lower tummy was feeling weird and crampy when I walked because of all the extra weight of my belly stretching things. I got my support belt last Monday and its amazing!! It totally eliminated that weird pain and I was able to resume my exercise!!! I highly recommend getting one!!!!

That water bottle will come in handy when you nurse too, and if you do get a bed liner just get a small one and you can reuse it in the crib later. My water has never broke before getting to the hospital and of the other moms i know it seems less common that it breaks at home or on your own, though obviously not outside a possibility. Probably due to more inductions these days and getting to the hospital early, i imagine. I have a pregnancy pillow but dont really reach for it this pregnancy as much, maybe i should though because im always super uncomfortable when i sleep lol. If you get compression socks get a size up from what you think you need, i think they all run small personally. I bought a support belt my last pregnancy and its still in the box. My feet hurt more than my back ever does so i think a good pair of shoes might be more helpful. I also suggest if your struggling to comfortably fit your clothes in the third trimester running to walmart or somewhere else cheap and picking up the smallest number of the clothes you need you can get by on, youll be more comfortable but not spend so much on something youll wear a couple months. Look for something you can wear after the baby comes too, like super stretchy nursing tops or open sweaters that wont suddenly be massive in a couple months. If its warm enough, dresses are the cheapest route for a quick fix since you dont need pants and tops.

You should do a video of things you need to have before a baby is born... diapers and wipes are a given... so is crib and car seat... but now I'm told ointments and things for just in case.... what just in case things should you have handy? What ointments? Are these things necessary or is it something you go out and get if the baby gets sick? 🤔

Not sure if you had your baby yet but FORMULA! With my first I was set on breastfeeding. What I didn't expect was the learning curve and a baby with a tongue tie. The first night home he was hungry and I had bleeding nipples! I would have given anything for formula at 3am. We did go on to successfully breastfeed but I needed the help of formula to get me through the first few weeks!
