- www.autobytel.c... For the 2017 model year the Nissan GT-R has a refreshed front end, side skirts, and rear fascia. The car looks clearly built for speed. The hand-built engine is a twin-turbocharged V-6 pumping out 565 horsepower and 467 lb-ft. of torque. Over the years the GT-R has received more and more power. One area where Nissan spent some cash updating the car is the interior. The materials are a bit more luxurious. Base price for the Premium version is $109,990.

Great Review. This car is stupid fast. If only a Maxima could have just percentage of this car's fun.
Ideally you need to include some town driving with slow traffic, hill starts etc. so as to give a realistic view of everyday use.

Nissan Skyline GTR is my dream car
You said it makes a good daily driver, but literally every other review says it's far less refined, louder, and harsher than all of its competitors. I would have never thought a GT-R to be good in traffic or over rutted roads.

Why always hammer on the price of a car while saying it is slower than a car half the price? Well the price doesnt always mean how fast something is, for some brands you pay for the name or because it is art/heritage for example!
James Blond Nissan is a less desirable name than brands such as ferrari, lamborghini, ford, chevrolet etc.. also japanese cars are not reknowned for their quality, and the gtr is so computer assisted it isnt exactly a drivers car.. it is supposed to be the cheap exotic killer, and the prices are getting out of hand.. I'd rather an older ferrari for less money.

Sorry the Nismo isn’t with the extra money . It’s missing carbon ceramic brakes and not faster than the regular GTR
I don't think Nissan should increase the money cuz there r so many cars like Lamborghini Ferraris and also astern Martin so the people won't go for a Nissan when they have so many other options like those awesome and famous cars so in my opinion there won't be much people buying a gtr....

Whatever happened to tan leather interiors? Not a fan of the red leather in this GTR.
There are a couple of interior colors.....Rakuda Tan w/Semi-Aniline Leather being one of them.

The Nismo version looks terrible and is unusable off of the track from what I've heard. But the GT-R Premium is glorious!

TheMisterTroll02 The GTR engine is not handmade, it's hand assembled. All engines are hand assembled whether it is Ford, Chevy, Hyundai, and etc..
Engine parts are made using CNC machines then assembled by hand.
ill always prefer the r34 sound and the Supra over the r35 gtr
