Watching all these soap videos is making me want to learn how to do it myself, it's all so pretty.
Even though this is an old video the soaps are to pretty not to watch them being made.

I've been very creative with my HP soaping through the years and now I've finally gotten the guts up to try CP again thanks to u!! My first time was an utter failure years ago because of bad advice of how to make and mold it in absolutely the wrong molds! I was absolutely scared of CP after that experience! I'm advising anybody and everybody to go with your approach and method! It's safe and it works!! It still amazes me how young you were starting your soaping journey and sticking to it! That makes me ask the question, what made u want to get into soap making?? Ur a role model!

I think that one of the keys is to use your darkest color, or even make up a tiny bit of black for the body of the butterfly and put it up against the mold wall so that it can follow the mold wall all the way to the bottom. I see too many attempts at butterfly swirls that end up not having anything that looks like the body of the butterfly and the ones that do, always seem to have the body color right next to the mold wall if not actually touching it. It is worth a try. I've watched about fifty different butterfly swirl videos now and that was my observation as I have been taking notes on the best ones. I also think that there should be two different areas of color, one for the bottom wing and one for the top wing and two depths of hanger actions with maybe two very deep pulls and draws to about mid mold and back on the bottom and a higher up series of pulls and draws, maybe three, that go over to about three quarters of the width of the mold. I am not set up to make soap myself but have helped a friend several times and I think I have a pretty good handle on this. Could you try this and let me know if what I am saying makes sense to you? The reason I have chosen you for this is because of the intelligent and open way you interact with your commenters, when you have time. You are not one to become defensive and take things personally as you have confidence In yourself.

Hi Katie! Do you insulate your soaps? If so, how do you cover them with high tops? With using MP embeds, I'm afraid the MP would melt, whether it be on top or mixed into the actual soap. Care to share how that's done? Thank you as always!
How do you make the mica drip on the top? I love your soap cutter. Where is that from? Does it only do 1 bar at a time?

I'm still trying to get my soap to stay loose enough to do much with 😫 despite trying everything. I just got a huge order from Nurture soaps. Carrie is awesome, and the micas are gorgeous!. In case she relayed my praise to you, I'm your fan from the desert.😃Any tips for a slow moving soap? Do you ever do classes? I'd deal with my fear of flying to learn from the dutchess.

I don't do classes as of right now but golly I'm thrilled to know you would take it if I did! lol :D I will say one thing to you, though. Katy you are such a bubbly and beautiful young lady. I normally don't type messages but I have watched almost all of your amazing videos. I do have a question for you or anyone. I noticed your mold has marking are they spaced out 1 inch apart. I am learning how to pipe on my soaps but I am having trouble on spacing them to where I don't cut off my designs prematurely. I would like any tips on spacing when to know where to place my piping. With that note, you are doing such an amazing job and such an inspiration to me. I look forward to your artistic masterpieces :-).
