    i just got hired to be a technician at a old hydroelectric powerhouse built in the 20s and we have a bunch of these old GE relays. thank you for the explanation. i’ll be checking for more videos on these old components.

      .2 if it trips an auxiliary device, 2 if it trips a breaker directly.

    What is with the .2 or 2 amp tap selection?

      That is for the seal-in unit. It is based off of how much expected current will be going through the trip circuit.
