Well hasn't Paddington changed a lot over recent years? More electric than diesel these days. Had about 50 mins spare before my train to Cardiff so decided to get some footage.
INCLUDES: Great Western class 800's, 387's, 165's & HST's, Heathrow Express 332's, Heathrow Connect 360's and you can spot a few Hammersmith & City line trains in the background.

Interesting film which clearly shows the rising gradient approach to the platforms. My father pointed this out over 60 years ago to me, saying it was a Brunel design feature as his locos brakes were very poor and it helped departing trains.
Another awesome film Matthew, come back in 6 months and HSTs and Turbo's will be effectively no more, sad that, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching, keep up the good work and a like from me as always
Aren't a few being kept for Devon/Cornwall trains? Or did they decide the 80Xs could do those as well?
