The time was always there, between the covers of your books.
Loved that story but couldn't remember what it was called. I recall the suspense as the miner returned each time to the crumbling walls to pull out just one more shovel of ore. Magnificent story telling!

Agreed. I started reading L'Amours westerns in my 20's. Always felt like I was living the books.
@@mmabagain Just before I graduated high school I found out a teacher liked him and told him I started reading him. I’ve been devouring his books since 2008. I’m about to upload The Haunted Mesa (my favorite) on my channel and I’ve already uploaded Horse Heaven, What Gold Does To A Man, Man Riding West, Rain On The Mountain Fork. His books are true experiences.
I’m glad I live on 7 acres to help immerse the authenticity of his stories.
He paints the land in words that make his stories come alive in our minds. His characters have personalities that show their weakness and strengths
He wanted to simply be remembered as a good story teller;...I'd say Mr.L'Amour achieved that humble wish.
He was a story god.
He was our Homer.
