  • I am facing this sound issue since I bought the car. hyundai service agent claims it is sound of fuel pump and this noise comes to all Venue turbo petrol model. It is really suprising how a newly purshased car can make this much loud noise.
Does anybody know how to fix it? Or is anyone facing same issue?

Hello fellow venue turbo owner, i too own this vehicle. so let me tell you something. The engine used in our car is a 3 cylinder 1ltr turbo gdi engine. So here are few things as a owner we should be aware of. During a cold start we should let the engine idle for a minute or two to let proper oil circulation in turbo. Note the rpm drops below 1000 and noise reduced after few seconds of idling. do not accelerate or run ac while idling. this particular gdi engine is noisy but we get 128hp out of this small engine right? nothing wrong about the sound, its normal and do enjoy your car

Yes correct even I am doing this since last 2 year…but as a customer when we are buying new car we expect smooth and less engine noise

      Hi
What is the mileage of turbo engine in highways in 80-90 KMPH speed.??
And it is service cost higher than to 1.2 ltr engine.??

@@ankushgupta4515 I'm getting around 17 to 18 sometimes 20 in highway in 80-90. beyond 100 kmph its 17. In city 10 to 11 sometimes 12. As far as service cost i can see hyundai is using long life pink coolant and fully synthetic oil. One more thing is after a friend of mine advice recently when i switched to shell petrol i can see some improvement in engine refinement and mileage. then i tried v-power after driving a while im now getting 20-21 in highways. so gdi engine performing well in premium fuels. so yes service and running cost is little bit higher than mpfi 1.2 ltr kappa engine.

@@PraveenKumar-hm3lq Hey bro , is synthetic oil and v power recommended by Hyundai ? How significant the difference is as you’re using it?
