Great video btw, really shows the rack so well
Hello. Thanks for the encouraging feedback!
Nice video. Thanks. I see Saris now supports 80 lbs bikes.
Hello. Our information shows maximum weight of 60 lbs, happy to learn where there's information about the 80 lbs pound rating. Thanks!
Your video helped me to make decision . I installed mine today. Was wondering if you also could show how to install extension for extra bike, I have 1 plus 1 base.
Hello. Great to hear our video helped. We do not have another MSH video planned, the MHS Duo 1-Bike Tray will include an illustrated manual that will guide the installation process. Thanks!
Will it work with a bike that has fenders?
so for 2 bikes, how do you order? its confusing as a consumer...Base plus 2 individual racks??
WOW... what an awesome system, this year If my bike cant be cramed into the back of my CR-V, which I just got, I most def have to get me one of these, I believe my e-bike is 45 pounds, its a Specialized Turbo Como SL... "Super Light" vs 60 70 and 80 pound -ebikes.... right? is there a Canadian distributor authorized resellers ? I'll be looking once out of this DEEP DEEP freeze we're in here in Alberta... I miss riding... Trainner time.
Hello. We do have several Canadian stores, check our guide for one near you: www.rackattack.com/stores/ Thanks!
Really nice rack but it seems to me the Kuat Piston Pro X is a superior system albeit more expensive.
Hello. Yes, the Piston Pro X is really nice. The MHS does have some unique attributes that others may find beneficial. Thanks!
@@rackattack You're right the MHS does have some features that the Piston Pro X lacks, like how easy it is to add/remove the extra tray. Another feature I like over the Kuat is the integrated cable lock. I also like the wheel block and strap features that the Kuat doesn't have. They do add an extra security.
@@PQV-8898 Agreed, thanks!
Yikes....Does this mean that anyone with a hollow point torx could remove the bike tray? It would be all to easy and fast
Hello. Yes, it's considered an effective deterrent base on a cost/risk evaluation. Thanks!
Yeah, pretty wild than only one torx needs to be loosened and the entire tray and bike (with lock still attached) can be snatched. Probably less than 10s with a torx on an impact driver. A TINY bit better would be to cross the locks from the adjacent trays (if they reach) so they'd have to undo both trays, or cut the lock.
Bad design. They copied Thule but are still using a threaded pin?? Outdated design
Hello. The threaded anti-wobble hitch pin is a widely used and well-tested solution, however, there are other tools-free designs that are also effect and very convenient. Thanks!
No I don’t like it don’t care 🤷♂️
Okay, thanks for commenting.
