23:24 Is this the Ultimate Ebike Rack?
Would be nice if they had a Trike add on to compete with Hollywood.
absolutely !! totally agree, I really want to buy a trike, yet I haven't seen a decent trike carrier yet!
This rack is built like a tank! And while that's a good thing, it also makes the rack heavy. Saris sells a dolly to wheel the rack around. Makes moving the rack a lot easier.
Good call Armand! Yep, the dolly is a lifesaver. You can also remove the trays individually
Why does the video thumbnail show "83lbs limit" but the Wired Freedom is like 105??
That is the newer version of the Wired Freedom, that has that weight, due to dual batteries. The older version, like we have, without the battery, is much closer to the 80lbs limit.
Is there "any" chance of showing a little bit of "how you get a HEAVY eBike up onto those carriers? I mean ... no video anywhere shows how to get these things up onto these racks... I'm assuming that you LIFT them up, then how do you hold them and push them. I'm betting it's because there's two strong guys doing this work, maybe even 3! I am a solo female and 70 years old... just how am I supposed to manage /sigh
I have the same rack. How I mount bikes (60 pounds) is to hold the rear brake and life the front wheel on to the rack. Then it's much easier to life the rear wheel on to the rack.
Of course, the easiest way would be to buy the ramp which would allow you to walk the bike up the ramp on to the rack. That may be my next purchase.
Hi! We sell a ramp to help load heavy bikes on to our MHS rack on our website. We also have a video on how to use the ramp over on our CZcams Channel!
Is that Sienna lifted? I'd love to put this rack on our Sienna, but im worried about ground clearance.
It is not..... Although I have looked into it..... I have no issues with ground clearance, except on super steep entry and exits. And I can mitigate the damage by just pulling in and put at an angle.
@@EbikeEscape Nice! What kind of trailer hitch is on that Sienna?
Went with this hitch, since it has a higher total capacity: www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch/Toyota/Sienna/2006/75237.html?VehicleID=200642657
