Europe is helping the best they can. Europe military industry is almost non existent. Yet The European Union as a whole has committed approximately $93 billion in aid to Ukraine until 02/02/2024, 0n March 2024 they provided Ukraine with the first €4.5 billion of support under the Ukraine Facility and announced an initial €83 million in humanitarian aid to support the people affected by Russia's war against Ukraine in 2024 and will make available up to €50 billion in grants and loans until 2027. The main problem is that our military industry is small ad we just don't have enough military equipment to provide to Ukraine.

In January, the United Nation’s International Court of Justice (ICJ) issued a ruling, saying it was “plausible” that Israeli forces had committed acts of genocide in the enclave.

Quite a few Americans have been killed as well fighting Russian aggression. Europe better arm themselves and prepare for the war thats coming. We all see how things could be held up here in America. Poland seems to realize the threat and is building their military up. We all need to look at the strategic level and prepare for the next 10 years of possible global war. As an American, I have a couple of thoughts to share. Firstly, I'm frustrated with the Republican party for delaying the aid package. The state of our country is rapidly declining, and I attribute much of this to the incompetent politicians we've elected into office. Unfortunately, we seem to have had limited options when it comes to voting for capable leaders. Secondly, what is the source of funding for the aid package? Ultimately, it comes from the pockets of hardworking American citizens. Personally, I'm more than willing to contribute to supporting Ukraine's freedom. Lastly, it bothers me that the burden of supporting Ukraine appears to fall disproportionately on the United States. While I'm proud to contribute, it seems unfair that other countries aren't stepping up to the same extent. The world's reliance on the US for supplying Ukraine with money, weapons, and ammunition is concerning. I wish other nations would either contribute more actively or refrain from expecting the US to shoulder the responsibility alone.

While a lot of EU countries have indeed been slacking off with their defense spending, the current situation can actually be blamed solely on America. The Budapest Memorandum Security Assurance is one of the biggest reasons. America did a lot of heavy handed "encouraging" for Ukraine to sign, which they did and subsequently handed over all their nuclear weapons in return of "security assurance".. A commitment America never upheld whatsoever and instead resorted to sanctions and indirect aid.

I think it is unfair to criticise America which has given the most support by far despite resistance from Republicans, they are not the custodians of Europe. Germany & Britain are the main contributors from Europe. The shameful countries which have notably failed to give any substantial support are Ireland, Brussels, France, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Italy & Greece. The worst offender is Hungary which is pro-Russian & should be removed from the EU as it has a completely different ideology, however the EU lacks common sense & hostility to this unaccountable institution is rising daily, mainly due to it's policy on illegal immigrants vs national identity. It needs to be replaced with a simpler, less rigid union like the original Common Market. Paradoxically the Irish are blaming Britain for the constant flow allowed to go unchecked through Europe.

Who are you to tell the US what we "should or shouldn't" contribute to this war? I'm pretty certain all of us want to see Russia's ASS kicked, but the US is over $34 TRILLION in debt now. Should we just bleed money for Europe? The Republicans in Congress are doing what they should be doing and that's watching the checkbook! Ukraine, Poland and everything East of Germany would still be Warsaw pact if we hadn't spent the Soviets into oblivion. Then it gets pissed away by a lazy Europe who wanted to be "friendly" with Russia. I'm OK with any LEND-LEASE agreements providing Ukraine with everything they need as long as there's no extra bullshit in the bills. That's the problem with DemocRATS. They want a monument or bridge or something else in that jacks the prices up $$$! STOP being so condescending to the US TVP world and put yourself in our shoes for once.

Johnaz you know I have the utter most respect for your work but when you Blame America for failures I can point out why they failed in the first place. Nothing for over 12 years of war had been fortified except several spots. Not until the 1 1/2 year mark did the President make the choice to do it. That should have been done 10 years ago having fall back positions setup during the war would have been acceptable to be put up but not entire fortifications. Also my friend if Europe is worried enough to not count on America that is on your own countries lack of foresight. What happens if a Super Natural disaster happens which disrupts American aid getting out for anything to anyone in the world for a time.
Do you think China, North Korea, russia will not act on that aspect. You bet they would in a second. If America went into its Isolationism under trump America first which is the worst way to think. You think its bad now. Suppose worst case happens. American 2nd civil war. What are you going to count on? You have to have a back up plan for when it happens not if. It is only a matter of time that plans that were not planned for fail. When you could have prevented it with one act which cost even more you have to ask was it worth it?

It will also be the end of Nato which would be immediately capitalised upon by filling the resultant vacuum with Russian and Chinese influence. For the US, the loss of Europe would be equivalent to losing the status of leader of the free world, and together with the loss of European markets, it would mean the inevitable end of the era of US political, military and economic dominance.
