Young Shabani treated the world like a bottlecap on a shelf, and he's the cat.... he can't help but push just to see it fall off ... except the bottlecap is nene 😂 What an amazing silverback, who is now super chilled out but always has time to play with his children and keep the group in harmony.
It's so sweet how the boy gorillas run with their mother everywhere she goes to try and protect her.💞 Even though they are scared, they stay right there with her.

Shabani is an international star and making that Zoo some good money. It’s the least they could do was to get him and his family some new digs!
The new enclosure is just that, new. Otherwise it’s just a lump of shit made with metal and cement. So unnatural, garbage. I will admit that it seems like they do get fed well .

Sweet little Kiyomasa always running near mommy cause he worries and loves her so much. He even cries and/or grabs mommy to stop her when he is afraid Shabani will hurt her. He is such a protective and loving little boy.

This was their old enclosure. As of 2020 they have been moved to a wider one with much more grass and plants.
