It's never true that Tunsuom is a suburb of Mampong. Tunsuom is part of Asante Mampong Town and because it was given to Botokuhene and his subjects to enable Botokuhene to be readily available to Nana Mamponghene. In Asante palance Botokuhene is the Sabronomuhene for Tunsuomu and Ohene for Botoku.
