Broooooo, this was so good. Cut my hair using the measurements and techniques you gave and it came out 100x better than I expected. It was a bit patchy on the sides, but that should even out within a day or two.
Also, doing the trim around the back was damn difficult. Everything's back-to-front.

This is a amazing video! Now I found a way how to rock a skin fade with the two block haircut
I would definetly recommend using the lever when blending your cuts with the 2 and 2 guards. It looks fine for someone doing it on their own, but the lever makes a huge difference even with the guards on.
I never really comment on CZcams vids but boi the editing is so daeng good I can safely say that it's better than my country's editing for movies and series XD. Keep up the good work!!!!

Skid the main point is about I do the pony tail on the top (not the front ) also cut it, it is for the top shorter and keep the front longer , so I can easy to push it backward ! It is the easy way for the beginner!

@Lyfield Jaeger the vortex is different on every person. Most asians have it on the centre. Mine is on the damn right side. So i have to cut the top manually.
It really sucks because the barbers here in my area doesnt know complicated cuts...like I even know a lot of hairstyles when it comes to my hair rather than those barbers😑😔 Thats why its really hard to find one...sighhh

Hey issac, this is a great video, I’ve been growing out my hair for two block and I think it’s getting close. Glad to fine this before I do it myself. So you recommend 3-4 inch of hair for the crown before doing the cut?? And also how long is your hair in this after on top?

Lol, went to a white barber the other day and I asked for a taper and half an inch off of the top. So you all know Asian hair sticks up the shorter it gets. Well, she thought my entire hair was, like, a cowlick or something. So she kept cutting lol. Ended up with about 1.5 inches off lol.

Thanks to this tutorial I found the courage to work on my son’s hair - no barber in the USA (at least in Florida) can get the “Asian cut” right - so... I did it, and I’m impressed - got the fade at the back nice 👍🏻 and the sides? Are ok... I didn’t have any clips and it was hard to work with so much hair... but tomorrow I get to practice s’more with his younger sibling 🥰 !! Mommy is next!

I do tried this 1 week ago with my father's razor gladly he have this stuff coz we don't usually use this for haircut i mean he juz use it for his beard but it's complete package so i was scrolling and watched this gladly i have watched this It's super easy but not as perfect like isaac does coz I'm having struggle at the back of my head so far i like the result and from now on I'll cut my hair and save some money because my local barbers Don't know how to cut this kind of hairstyle so why not do it myself to satisfy me also of community quarantine I wanna have haircut coz my freaking hair is so messy.

heyy, man! i really want to get this haircut. i'm going to grow the top of my hair, so i'm going to tell my barber to leave it be.
i'll show him this video but i just want to tell him the specific clipper size and measurements bec i always show him a photo of a haircut i want and it never really turns out the way i'd like it to 😭

what a good question bro=) actually the mid fade (fade ) is shorter than ''taper''( in this video ) , if u want to do the same thing like me=) u can try taper in the first time . then u can try mid fade for the next haircut .

Genetics... better said, Asian Genetics. (Same with hair)! Either you have good skin with no pores or you have shit skin with big pores etc.! Skincare will not give you a completely different skin than what you're born with, like asians for example. You can keep your skin clean and prevent it from braking out and getting worse but it will not change to a 100% perfect complexion and poreless skin if you're not born with it.
