I just gave myself a 2 block haircut this past weekend, and I am so happy with it. I've wanted this haircut for a long time, and hair stylists and barbers could never get it right. I'm so grateful a fashion and stylist youtuber like you exists. Thank you issac! 😊
I'm in the same situation ... my trusted barbers never manage to replicate the cut. I would like to try it myself but I'm too afraid of messing up. Did you find any particular difficulties or did everything go relatively smoothly?
@@mauryhaoo7064 yes 2 things. The first hardest part for me was my impatience when growing my hair out. I really wanted to cut it during the poofy awkward stage. The second hardest part was figuring out how to section my hair so that the disconnect between the long and short hair was low enough for the hair to fall to the sides of my head (previously my disconnect was high on my head. I'd recommend looking at other 2 block videos and seeing how the barbers part/section the hairs with their hair ties or hair clips. For the record I have had experience cutting my hair before. When I first started I messed up a lot because I was too impatient with cutting my hair. Take it slow when you start, seriously.
Yeah like you my barber can't get my hair right so I decided to selfcut after learning from Issac. I've had selfcut for more than a year
The two block is a nice haircut because it gives a nice balanced shape to the head after the hair being disconnected, I prefer it over having the back blended.
