FYI, this video led to me purchasing your products (wrap, ties, tie tool) directly from your website to wrap aftermarket over axel pipes on a boxster. Really demystified the install, very helpful.
I have used this product with success. I have wet it, though. Instead of the ties (which I have purchased at a local DYI home store), I have whipped the ends with a good quality wire. I have also used water-based glue (like Elmer's) to further secure the ends. It works! Don't use petroleum-based glue. I then spray the wrap with the correct heat paint. Enjoy. (Wear a long-sleeved shirt!)
If you continue to wrap after the combiner down thru flex pipe, would you switch directions to keep keep the sewn side facing combiner as you wrap in the direction of tail pipe?
i was wondering how much i would need for a set of v6 long tube headers. also does wrapping the header lengthen the life of the header if its only painted?

I'm about to buy my first bike and plan on wrapping the pipes. This is the best tutorial/example of how to do a professional job that I've found.

Heat cycles? Any guidelines as for time / amount of heat cycles once installed before I use my bike on the road normally again

I used this on my 07 yfz450 and the part of the exhaust that wasnt wrapped turned cherry red. Why is that?
