So many tutorials show bending the knees and leaning forward. I was always so unsteady leaning forward. The shoulder above hips position is much more natural.
I love tgat u r promoting the helmet. Do knee\elbow\wrist pads too pls I just got a bum tutle too as i recently took a tailbone slam , so painful, took me out for 3 wks!
Can someone tell me the kind of ground I should try skating on as an absolute beginner? I tried today in the basketball court and there were so many stones that it just wasn’t happening
A sports court is a good idea as it'll be flat and probably smooth surface but you do need to pick up all the little stones and it's worth doing that before you put your skates on. Just use one side or along or near a line so you don't have to clear the entire court. One little stone and it can have you over, so it's worth doing that.

I broke my coccyx ice skating as a teen haha but I’m ready to make it worse trying to roller skate
It's very common if you go over backwards and easy to break. That's why correct technique is so needed!
