Those green and purple peppers look SO GOOD. Everything looks really great!
Thanks!
ahhh I just love watching y'all! What a dream to be able to provide not only for yourselves, but also your community! This is what being a part of a society is about and it warms my soul. ❤
Thank you so much. It makes us feel pretty wonderful to have good food for ourselves and our local community. We've met some amazing people through our farm stand.
That was a great video! I learned a lot.
Glad it was helpful!
Bless your heart! Your store is so quaint i love it ❤
Thank you so much!
I absolutely love the Farm Stand. Great videos! Blessings from Georgia!
Thanks! I'm already looking forward to opening back up for the season....as soon as we have greens and asparagus.
Just discovered you guys.Really enjoying your videos!
So, glad you found us. Thanks for watching!
It’s beautiful! I’d gladly help pick produce while you vacation ! Love the idea of switching grocery shopping roles. Hmm
I'll gladly take you up on the picking produce the next time we are away.
As for groceries, I don't miss running to the grocery store at all!!! 😁
So sweet i am headed to the dentist 😂
If I was closer, I'd be a customer. Produce and flowers look amazing.❤
Thanks! Encouragement is always appreciated.
I have seriously thought about setting a veggie shack up by the road. I live on a "popular lake" road. I bet I can make a nice chunk of change and never leave home. Free milk bone for rover. I'm also starting a worm farm. Gonna get them all... campers, fishers, daily boaters and pets.
That sounds like a great idea!
Just watched and wish I lived closer so I could come visit!! So enjoy your channel and watching you work together on projects!! You're living my dream of finding an old farmhouse and restoring it. Thanks for sharing❤️
Thanks so much. I hope you can live your dream some day. While it's a lot of work, it's VERY rewarding.
So wonderful. Great farm stand. You folks have a awesome farm.
Thanks! We love our farm and we're very grateful that we found it.
I loved this video! Being out in my garden is therapeutic. 💕
I love your stand setup. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much for the kind words. Yes, gardening is definitely therapeutic. :)
Man do I wish I lived by you I’d be there every week
Thanks!
Wish I was close! This is making my mouth water! Those blackberries!!
I LOVE the blackberries. They are my favorite of all of the brambles. I make a blackberry lime jam that is pretty yummy. I also just did an experiment with black raspberry, red raspberry and blackberry jam with lime. It turned out pretty tasty----that's next week's video. :)
Watching this and missing summer already and your great produce and flowers. Hoping winter goes by quickly.
Yes, it's sad to see the produce and flowers gone for the winter, but it does give us a chance to rest and to plan for next season. See you in the Spring. :)
Love it! I admit I got way too excited when she wheeled out that cart. 🤣 👍🏻
I get excited too! It's so rewarding to put out food that we grow here on the farm.
I WISH I lived nearby! Your stand is amazing.
Thank you SO much. Hopefully there is something similar that is close to you.
awesome love it!
Thanks!
You guys have such a beautiful farm! and I love your farm stand. Wish I was close by to come to your stand and buy your beautiful vegetables.
Thanks for the encouraging words. I hope you can find a farm stand close to where you live. Thanks for watching!
Wow your farm stand looks amazing. Wish I lived closer cause I would visit.
Thanks! We love being able to provide good produce to the community. (and our family) Hopefully you can find a good, local farmstand.
That is so cute! Wish we had something similar nearby.
Thanks!! So sorry you don't have a local farmstand. There are quite a few in our area....we're one of the smaller ones.
Your farmstand looks magnificent. I would definitely be your best customer if I lived near you. Your flowers are amazing. 108 degrees here has baked our garden. Only the shishito peppers survived.
Thanks for the encouragement. That's a shame about your garden. I can't imagine 108 degrees.....we rarely even reach 100.
I love your farm stand. It is a lot of work…no doubt. I can’t wait for corn to start coming out in my area of Colorado. Unfortunately, our local farmer closed his farm stand. I do miss visiting every weekend. Thank you for sharing…sending hugs your way.
Oh, that's so sad that your local farmer closed his stand. I know that when we were on vacation for a week our regular customers missed the produce. Thanks for the hugs. :)
Love you're videos You're Produced Stand is awesome I also so watch Chelsea Little Mountain Ranch Love her channel another good one is Jessica Three River's Homestead
Thanks. I actually just closed the farmstand for the season. I'll be anxious to open it back up next Spring. I've watched Little Mountain Ranch, but not Three River's....I'll check it out.
Headed to a local Amish bakery and farm stand. Yum!!!
Amish stands are amazing! Enjoy all of the goodies you are able to pick up.
I wish I lived closer so I come to your farm stand! Hello from northwest hot and humid Florida! Where did you get that salad spinner? That is the biggest salad spinner I have ever seen! All my corn finished by end of June. My okra is still making but almost done. I still have some snap beans coming on and cherry tomatoes. It's too hot for greens but I will begin planting fall crops soon and should be able to have greens through winter. I still love to go to farm stands and get other folks vegetables.
The weather is definitely not as hot and humid where you are. I struggle with greens here....I can't imagine trying to grow them somewhere even hotter. I got the salad spinner from restaurantsupply.com. They have quite a few different sizes types. I love my salad spinner. :)
@@waardenburgfamilyfarm4764 thank you, I'll check out their website! Yes hot and humid northwest Florida is having a long scorcher spell but it looks like relief is coming hopefully in a couple more weeks then supposed to finally get some lows at night in 70s and only upper 80s during the day. It's the humidity that is what I dislike more than the temperature. We been having 65% plus days with temps near 100 to 104.
Do you direct sow your leaf lettuce or grow starts?
I do some of both. Early in the spring I start them in little pots, but later in the year I'll just direct sow.
Does a farm stand produce significantly or is it more of”it covers the money for “x” project.
Yes, the farm stand contributes to offset expenses. Our #1 income is row crops, #2 is Angus beef sales and #3 is farm stand. Keeping in mind, it is very difficult to generate enough income to live on with a small 40 acre farm. Don is retired and Brenda has a home based business and that keeps us going. Thanks for watching!
Short answer is heck no. 😆. These people aren't really farmers. They are gentleman farmers with a HUGE bank account. He's a retired high level corporate executive of some sort. Don't be deluded.
