That's kinda the point of this scene. To show how skilled and bold he is. It also adds more to the theory of him being the devil or some supernatural entity.
One of the best shoot out scenes ever made...is enough with the cinematography, sound and your imagination...I don't recall another scene of this sort, like it...
So he walks past 2 feds with the windows open and doesn't see or hear them, and pulls out the gun in front of them. I watched 4 seasons, i was thinking it was going to be great but honestly it's not. Especially looking back. Everyone makes it seem like its brilliant but its goofy plots and a lot of BS with a bit of shock value. Good cinematography, actors and copying every coehn brothers theme without any of the brilliance lets them get away with mediocracy. And it's not really a real story either
This scene really killed the series for me. It was too much over the top. Malvo kills dozens of people, all armed and skilled, during the afternoon, walking through the front door. In the original movie, a few killings in the province were a big deal, in the series there is one mass shooting after another. It's just too much in my opinion. The original movie maybe was bizarre at times but it ultimately had a realistic and grounded vibe to it. The series overall has some great actors and ideas but I wish that they didn't call it Fargo and even connected it with the movie.
I felt the same. I haven't watched the movie but him casually taking a whole armed building was too much, at least they could've showed some choreography to see how he rlly is psycho John Wick
Why? You don't see anything. Seems like production ran out of money so they took the cheap route. I love Fargo so not judging, it happens, but to describe it as "one of the best shootouts ever filmed" is just ridiculous.
Fun fact: one of the guys malvo killed was hanzee dent, the character from season 2 who disguises as moses tripoli as he had reconstructive face surgery to hide his identity
2:18 was a mag change. There was only one other person after the cycle, and that person had an empty double action revolver. So, the cycle sound had to come after a mag change.
@@ShimrraJamaane im almost positive that that sound is just him using a doorknob. you can hear at 1:33ish him actually racking his gun, then at 1:42ish after he fires 5 shots, you hear the same sound you hear at 2:18. it would make no sense for him to reload after firing 5 shots, and the sound is distinctly different from when he actually racks the bolt at the start.
@@de4dbutdre4ming the sounds were all the same. I would say the 1:42 mark was clearing a misfure or failure to cycle. The sound at 1:33 is so distinct because it's silence preceding it. But if you jump back and forth, the sounds are effectively identical, but not so identical as to sound copy and paste. You have me wanting to do a spectrographic analysis of the audio now. I'll get back to you on that. Thank you for identifying two additional locations of manual cycles. It definitely isn't supposed to be a door handle sound. Why would they be so lazy to use something mirroring the weapon instead of cookie cutter door sounds? They made the revolver sounds accurate. Unless that was on accident.
Because a lot of films and series don’t film where they take place because of money You have to close of streets, rent locations, get hotel rooms , move the cast and crew etc Where on a set or in a cheaper town is much easier
The report sounds exactly like it should as well. 45 and 9 in longer barrels is kinda distinct. Let alone 45, I came here from a ump short lol and it's like they clipped the audio. Makes me want a clone or a 45 on ar platform.
I actually didn't like this scene that much. I mean it's not that I want John Wick like action it's a drama but at least something to see instead of ugly windows. They could've made this similar to that "2D" like fighting sequence in the movie Oldboy (the korean OG movie). So we can see glimpses through the window in "2D".
