Jenny, I have to tell you this. Yesterday, my husband and I were running late, getting chores done before we had to be somewhere. I told him, “Move with purpose, like Jenny says.” He said, “Who?” 🤣🤣🤣

Mr Deppe opened his garden to the local tour in June this year. I experienced Stehndal syndrome when I visited (look it up). One of my current obsessions is learning about mulch, and irrigation. I also experiment with summer sun shields. Perhaps you have delved into this is in earlier episodes. I'm old school, so I basically hand water with a hose. How many of your customers are like me? I'm willing to change my ways, but need education. People like me need guidance, (I have very sandy soil, wish I had installed more soil amendment upfront). I have lots of plants in borders, so installing irrigation sounds tricky, soakers would help but , I only get partial water bill discount on my outside water bill. Please talk about this when you can. I'm a fan, God Bless!😊

❤Hi Jenny, I'm in Southern Michigan zone 6A, I've had a hydrangea in my back yard I got as a baby about 7/8 years ago, at that time I was clueless about it. It's huge and beautiful 😮. No idea what kind, is there a way to find out specifically? This year I made my first garden and now have 6 more all different and can't wait til they take off!! This video made my morning! Thanks and I love how pretty you are here too in your flowing blue 👗 dress!! Ty for your content!! Ps.I cannot get my reblooming blue and a pink to flower again, any tips?❤

Hi Jenny: Lost my first message this morning but wanted to respond to your tour at Spring Meadow Nursery. What glorious Gardens at Spring Meadows. I feel privileged to be one of your viewers and supporters. Just loved the sarata hydrangea that can tolerate more sun than most. Also, the wine craft gold smoke bush & honeysuckle eucalyptus climbers are outstanding, Exciting that breeders are coming out with roses that rebloom & that are highly disease resistant. Your encouragement is appreciated and comments smart to keep studying designs at local botanical gardens. Sometimes you can have a design in mind but can hit a stony area upon installation & all is changed. No worries though, because as designers we can always come up with new & even more interesting plans for the garden. Have a great afternoon!

    Those gardens are beautiful!
Spring Meadow Nursery needs to use my yard as a trial garden. I live on the southeastern NC coast about a mile from the ocean. I CANNOT grow PW roses. I have tried at least six different varieties in six different areas of my yard. They always decline and start to die. I dug up At Last roses and put them in containers. They made a comeback. I replanted them in the ground. In two weeks those great little comeback roses looked terrible! So I gave up and only have two At Last roses in containers.

  • @Cmallon81

I always love when you film at their gardens--they are absolutely stunning! It was heaven seeing all the hydrangeas in bloom. I think I have a lot of hydrangeas and then I see places like this and it makes me want even more. My yard is pretty full, but I always seem to manage to squeeze in one more hydrangea somewhere. LOL. Maybe in the future when you visit you can do a video concentrating more on showing mature sizes of their plants that are on the market. I watch several gardening channels and 99% of them are either young gardens or showing plants still in/recently planted from their nursery containers. You can read me the plant tag but I find it so much more useful to actually see a mature specimen. The gardening layout videos are nice, but personally not that interesting to me . But, that is just because (1) I have basically no space left in my garden; and (2) I don't like formal garden layouts in my personal garden--cottage garden all the way 🙂

I have some sort of old limelight hydrangea planted too close to the house so I have to keep shortening it every so often to keep from growing into the gable and lifting the roof. bit of a pain but they come back fuller and fluffier next summer. I was happy with it until I saw your tour but now, I have plant envy.. this is normal for me and your videos. keep it up, please. thanks

I was wondering about the climbing hydrangeas. I asked this before and you answered and said in this video that it wouldn't hurt the tree. But I came up with another question. Since you wouldn't be able to see the health of tree what happens if the tree starts to die, would the limbs die off and the climbing hydrangea keep the rest up or would the whole thing end up falling?
