We love the Evil Following. My wife has that bike! But yeah sort of a hidden gem of a brand in my opinion. Great handling, capable, nimble and still efficient.

What did you think of the REVEL compared to the Ripley?
I'm visiting family near cedar rapids this summer any cool areas this recommend. Mountain biking wasn't a think when I lived there

The Revel Ranger was okay. Personally, I didn't think it felt as efficient climbing and nimble feeling as the Ibis Ripley. Yeah some good spots nearby Cedar Rapids to keep you busy! Beverly Park , Wanatee and Mt. Trashmore in Cedar Rapids are fun. I would definitely check out Sugar Bottom in North Liberty not far away.
