In this video, I make an abstract painting on a 80x80cm canvas.
As paint, I used acrylic paint and spray paint to make this painting.
As tools, I used several types of brushes, masking tape and spray paint cans.

Man I love ur work. I was an active artist but recently I was diagnosed with lung cancer and brain cancer. It took all my creativity and motivation away. But when I watch ur videos they give me this crazy inspiration to paint again. Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to share ur work. Cheers mate

This painting pulls you in! I found myself not only looking at the bright colors but also looking at the shaded areas trying to see what was underneath. Excellent and intriguing. Also it's great to see a video from you again, it had been 3 weeks and I was so worried (sorry i'm a mom and an artist and I just can't help myself from worrying lol).

I tend to make abstract works of art. It's been said that there is no point in creating realistic drawling or paintings when we have cameras. Abstract art is something that comes from a person's inner thoughts and feelings and that's why I love it.

Hey John ! Luv your work baby. I notice your other signature....the 3 dots. That's mine also when I sign cards, I make the fancy loops around my name and I add 3 dots, really.

With a painting like this what do you usually do with the sides? Leave them alone? Color them in with one color? Try to match whats already there?
Love this! What kind of tape do you use?? I haven't found a decent one that sticks well and doesn't bleed.
Its Tesa 4334 Tape. Expensive but really good for clean Edges. When you are using spray paint the standard tesa will do the job.
How long do you let your base coat dry before putting tape down? I'd be concerned the pai t would lift off with the tape. I assume you're using acrylic paints. Thank you. You give me lots of ideas
