- Two Point Campus is here, and we're taking on the role of Campus Administrator across multiple universities at Two Point County as we try to educate the masses in the ways of PARTY. This management / tycoon style game has an excellent balance of comedy and challenge, and harkens back to classics from my earliest days of playing in the genre.

#TwoPointCampus - Hry
I was thinking, could you add a new door to the side of the oldest building, so that it would connect to the path that leads to all new buildings? I feel like that might cut down the walking distance and time a bit. Would need to move the research room but might be worth it. I also feel like you could move at least a few food kiosks to a more central location and more evenly across the campus. Also, could you put one of the romance benches at the inner courtyard of the original building? I think it would be cute. I like the series!
Still loving these. As others have said, more dorms, a side entrance where the teacher training room is (and being more focused on route efficiency in general), more teachers required. I think the money at the start of the year would've been better spent on upgrading the equipment - I can't remember what is was exactly, but wasn't it something like 10k to upgrade the lectern and then it's 10% better for ever and ever? Seems like a pretty sound investment, but I might be missing something. Also, you don't need to worry so much about the loans I think, unless it's a personal challenge you set yourself. You're only "wasting" 2.5k on a 50k loan, not much when you're turning over a million a year. And no expulsions please!
On a positive note I'm really enjoying the return of the let's plays, great entertainment!
It's good to have three or four refrigerators in the Student Lounge. They increase food and thirst simultaneously.
love this series!
I think I noticed that all your students who were failing were in the new classrooms to the far side of the campus. Could most likely be that their needs aren't met, but maybe also look into the teacher? Maybe they just are really low qualifications.
Been really enjoying this series so far, imagining the board meetings for UoP is hilarious. In terms of the folks we have who are at risk of failing, I do wonder if this might be a part of the ripple effect through this year from having not enough beds through an entire year. Also really like the new robot faculty building, particularly the outdoor court in the middle. Was wondering if that might be a good place to make a wee food court, alongside more back/side doors might help students from taking up too much time traveling. Regarding the private tuition, recon testing if students interact with it more reliably if we only have one room, would be a good test to run. Particularly if we then use the same space for one big room and hopefully bump it the prestige to see if that helps the learning enough to make up for there only being one. If we have the money, it might also be wise to up the prestige of the staff room as well. These teachers and their extended breaks, give them more time for training or study projects.
Sorry I hadn't commented on the last few, trying to get back in the habit. Hope your recovering from your trip well.
Loved the series so far! I can’t afford the game right now so I’m definitely hooked and enjoying this play through 😄
You’re doing a great job!
I think the reason why the students queue up to go to private tutor versus going to the room that's available it's because when you select the student and send them to private tutor you're doing it in pause so they're all queuing up to that one room versus when you're in play they queu to the next available room
Check the teachers in the tuition rooms. They might be to tired. You need more teachers bro.
Another fun episode! Some observations from the episode. Not sure if they will help (I haven't played the game)
1. Students need more beds in the dorm. Seems like they're tired across the board. It might have had a cascading effect throughout the year.
2. All the students with F seemed to be bunched in the far-off lecture halls and robotics class. Maybe it being that far meant their needs weren't met?
3. The kiosks are not working as they do in real life. You should consider putting more of them out there in different locations OR have more vending machines in each campus building
4. You need heaters near the kiosks
5. Need more events/parties/films throughout the year. If they're happy throughout the year, you will get those boosts to your grades. Maybe consider all the events before the year starts (and having the repeat every year toggle on) so it's set for the entire year?
Don't know if these will actually have an effect or if it's just the gameplay. I personally don't like the idea of expelling first-year students just because they performed poorly.
A side entrance where the research room is seems like a necessity. They move so incredibly slowly and having to go the long way around is clearly a problem. Also suggest you make sure there’s food over by the new building, and add enough dorm space for all students. Finally, I think you might want to have some spare teachers because I noticed they were all exhausted, they don’t have time to take care of their own needs between classes. Might be affecting the behavior of the tuition rooms too, idk.
I really like the building layout of the new block area. Those inset doors are very nice!
But selling things off instead of getting a loan makes no sense!
I mean, if you get a loan, you can use it to maximize XP gain by having better rooms and perphaps better teachers. So if you can offset the repayments and the cost of the loan with additional XP bonuses, it clearly is better. If you sell things off that aren't entirely redundant or build badly equipped rooms, you waste XP-bonus-money or even reduce it, if you sell things off that might have given you additional XP. I believe this is simply the wrong tactic. :)
For teachers look at their schedule for the upcoming year. Sometimes a course only has one or two classes to cover spill over. So you can train a teacher that has an opening in that course slot to cover it instead of fully paying a new teacher to teach one class. Then when you need to have someone full time you can hire a new teacher. There is a little more schedule micro management but saving money overall. Especially good teachers teaching more students.
The heat distribution from a radiator only shows after the room is built not while you re building it
The heatmap doesn't update until you confirm a room you're constructing.
When training teachers, temporarily switch off their teaching duties so they don't interrupt the training session to go to class, then when they're done switch it back on. You'll need a general multi-discipline supply teacher to cover occasionally.
You can have more than one training pod in a training room. In addition to private tuition, get your librarians trained and make sure the room is set to 3 assistants. 3 well trained assistants can help vastly more students with assignments.
Lots of unmet needs are probably affecting the students who are struggling. Now you have the student lounge and unions done, please prioritise dorms. Also can you put a door in the main building facing the other buildings so people don't have to walk all the way around the side, that might make things more efficient even if you have to move the research rooms around. And you may need a few more staff members to cover breaks so that their unmet needs aren't affecting how well students are learning either.
What if you did toilets next to showers, ease of multiple needs improvement and more realistic. Have the bathrooms set up as a walk through room to the showers. Have fewer stalls per room, but more corridors around the campus
Remember your classes can only fit 8 students max, no matter how big you make them, so you may have too many students, so they never get into a class.
You could always let that first month play out, get your profit from rent and XP and use that to create the rooms/hire teachers or staff while paused
food kiosques should be inside rooms or in their routes between buildings (and heated!)
I have a very small suggestion for the library. Reduce the inner sectional walls slightly, so students can get to the desks easier and the small gap doesn't cause them to get stuck on each other. Loving the series! 😊💜
I am leaving a comment and a like so that you continue this series
it was probably the lack of lodging that made them fail
If your students are complaining about how cold it is outside, then it's too bad you can't open a coat store. :)
We'll be fine! everything's fine! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Think you should move the research lab and place a door so students have way quicker access to the middle/right buildings, travelling time seems to be taxing them hard. I think it's a flaw in the games that use this kind of time system, feels really jarring that it takes weeks for them to go from one building to another (and forces the player to clump up facilities instead of taking a more organic/attractive layout). That said I appreciate the challenge the game seems to be putting up, many top reviews on Steam mention that the game is way too easy but that doesn't seem to be the case. Cheers!
I was wondering if you couldn't start sectioning off the campus, by having the students and teachers live in the middle and all the robotics and research to the grounds, there seems to be a lot of open space.
Nice 👍 love the series
Tried to find if you did two point hospital couldn’t find it sadly
Student lounge way to big
you should put some plants into the student lounge you were close to next level of prestige
When you're building a room and adding things like ac or heat, they dont show up in the overlay. I dont place those items until after I've built the room.
It’s because the 2 new classrooms are leveled up enough and barely anything is in them so they aren’t doing good grade wise
Loving watching the series, but I was wondering.,, Is it cheaper to buy a plot with the buildings then modify as necessary? It seems to cost a lot to build new buildings?
Here the second I got the notification 👌🏻
You keep forgetting about heaters.
50:00
You should try to at the start of the next level make a lot of rooms but only put the basics and then find a system to every month or so add more and more stuff until you are solid on cash.
Other than that I love the series.
Keep ‘em going
You seemed quite stressed this episode! Don't worry too much about the student's happiness. The overall AI is quite good at balancing things without micro-management. Just ensure all folks - students AND teachers - are given breaks. Students need beds - every 5 students is a new bed! This isn't a "nice-to-have", but nearly a "must-have" Staff rooms are good for staff happiness, but the biggest thing is giving them time off to rest. The best way to do that is to have a surplus of staff. You are being very frugal with your staff at the moment, and using the same few teachers to do every job. Students won't automatically go to tutoring when commanded too if they are in the middle of a class or a party. They'll only go if they are in free time. Also, there isn't ALWAYS a staff member available to tutor. They DO take breaks autonomously, so even your trained tutors won't be there. Don't expel your students! There isn't necessarily a benefit to that, especially since your star goals don't rely on the education status. Give them a chance!
Also, more smaller bathrooms/showers distributed across campus would be more efficient (even with the lower prestige they come with)
Tell them to excel or expel.
move 1 tutoring room to the other end of uni?….. instead of having 3-4 large classrooms 3 months walk away from everything else is no good?!? maybe try fit 1 classroom like year 1 classes and small dorm with all amenities in 1 large building, year 2 in another and so on…? keep student lounge, teacher lounge and party room central… 1 large dorm will have to be very central to work…
Mabe make the actual rooms where they learn better to increase the marks. Entertainment does not give you better marks
You should've sacked some of the teachers who are horrible at teaching
