I agree with him. I was raised to engage in spiritual warfare by commanding and binding these principalities and evil spirits and to take authority etc… I became so worn down and extremely exhausted thinking this was how we win spiritual warfare. Then the Lord showed me that I am worn out because I am trying to do HIS job. He showed me that I am to pray, fast and trust Him to defeat this evil that comes against me and my family. It set me free of feeling that I had to be in some spiritual battle against these evil spirits all the time to get victory. Praying to the Father to deliver us from evil is the answer. Trust in his word. God fights for us.

This is true. You can't command a dark force to go out of a region without the people of that region repenting. They still have legal ground. Pray to God and spread the gospel: thats the most powerful spiritual warfare.
And you will attract darkness to yourself when you do so.

It depends. There are ways to displace a fallen angel. Jesus did it and taught us how. The problem is the people from the west don't know how it's done. Arch bishop Benson Idahosa displaced a fallen angel before Benin city opened up to the gospel. Where I am living today, if you preach, it's similar to talking to the wall. No one will hear or repent unless it's a child.

If you were not experiencing warfare before then why did you engage in it?. I figure you do not live in Africa , if you did, you will understand perfectly why they pray the way they do. Also the Luke 10:19 says that He has given us power to thread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt us. You must also put on the full armor of God.
In Africa, if you don't rebuke and bind, you will be buried - graveyard dead. Just allow yourself to be led by the Spirit. Jesus commanded is to bind the strongman (Mark 3:27). You don't do it if you don't know how (Luke 9:1).

David didnt go out to battle unless the “Lord was with him”. Staying COVERED in our measure of rule unless He speaks otherwise.

When we understand the new covenant in Jesus blood then we understand that Jesus gave us authority over devils where ever we encounter them...Luke 10:19 "Behold I give you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over ALL the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Interestingly enough he only quotes half of that verse in this teaching. Peter says we are to "submit to God and resist the devil and he will flee from us." Paul says "we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age and against spiritual wickedness in the heavenly places." The bible says that He (God) made us a little lower then Elohim (not angels). The translators were afraid to translate it correctly so the translated it angels. The bible says in Ephesians 2;6 that "He raised us up and made us sit together in Christ in the heavenly places." If we understand God correctly then we realize that we are already in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. There are many other texts I could cite but this is sufficient. I respect this man but I find this teaching confusing and inaccurate. We are not to fear the enemy because Hebrews 2 says that "Jesus destroyed him who had the power of death, that is the devil." and Jesus told us in Mark's gospel to go preach the gospel in all the world and to cast out devils. Sometimes the enemy is in people and we are suppose to center our attention on ministering to people but I have been in places where the very atmosphere was polluted and you just have to drive the devil away from there!

Jesus said that all authority given to him He gave it to us, through Jesus man got back his original place in God.Because we are in Christ Jesus the enemy is under our feet. Galatians 2:20 speaks of we no longer live but Christ lives, the body we live we live it by faith through Christ Jesus.
but... there are boundaries that are given to certain spirits to dwell and it's their home for now and we don't have authority to cast them out of there. that's how I understand it. although it's still just a bit confusing. not much. I read this book about 5 times in English and Russian and every time I get something new out of it.

Blessings to everyone here. I found this video and it gave me some good things to think about and reflect on in prayer. As I read through the comments, I found differing positions from what JPJ was teaching, and they too gave me some good things to think about and reflect on in prayer. I am writing this because it breaks my heart when Brothers and Sisters in the Lord disagree with someone's teachings and immediately jump to the accusations of JPJ being a 'false prophet/teacher', a 'heretic', or even go as far as to question if he was going to Heaven. Look there are false teachers and there are schemes of the enemy set out to deceive us, yet it hurts my heart, and I believe God's as well, when we jump to making claims about people without even knowing their hearts. The Church doesn't give people the benefit of the doubt or even the grace to be wrong theologically. Frankly, I know I don't understand the Bible 100%, and therefore, I give myself room to be wrong, and still believe I belong to Christ. I appreciate hearing this and thinking, "hmmm I disagree, let's talk about it." Because in those dialogues we can actually learn from one another and see each other's points of view, without needing to pronounce judgement upon them as heretics or false teachers.
Maybe JPJ is wrong on this topic, maybe those who disagree with him are, I don't know where I fall on this theology yet. But what I won't do is assume that people who disagree with me are therefore false teachers, heretics, or unsaved. I like to give God His space to help correct each person's theology, as He is so much better at dealing with people than I am. I am simply trying to live for Jesus day by day. I screw up often, although that is improving as the years progress. My theology has adjusted and changed in some aspects over the years as I have grown in intimacy and understanding of Our Father's heart. I thank God that we are saved by Jesus' death on the cross for our sins and NOT based on a theology test conducted by our Brothers and Sisters. It is my prayer that Followers of Christ who disagree learn to do it well and in respect of one another. It isn't my job to make sure everyone's theology is 100% accurate. It is my job to love Jesus, to love others as best I can while showing them His love through my life. He will deal with their theology if they are in error, and if He wants me to participate in helping them see where they might be off, I am then expected to do so in loving kindness and gentleness, seeking to restore them rather than to condemn them. For I was blind to the Truth, and in some aspects still am, but am growing in the knowledge of God. Let's have grace for one another and discuss difference well. Thanks for listening to my rant! Well said, God gives us different gifts, 9 different gifts of the Holy Spirit , not all of us have all 9 , I have learned more from JPJ than any other teacher and I respect him deeply and I only found his teachings a few months ago. I go to God for all spiritual warefare and when He moves me and speaks to my Spirit Man, I say what He wants me to say.... I am confident in that....

I have done this for 20 years, with no ill effects, and many answered prayers. If Daniel did it, I can do it in Jesus name and in His dominion. I am still alive.

I have heard of intercessors die after coming against principalities.

you are both right, they have taken this clip out of context of a 30 minute video. from memory in the video he covers much more. so please dont dismiss John Paul Jackson based on this one clip.
And 'wrestling' is best done by disengaging from evil and engaging with prayer. praise and affirmation of God and Jesus. God in habits the praises of His people.

In other words, stay covered. Stay in your metron. After submitting yourself to God, if HE leads you to pray which is RECIEVING a directive first from Him and not going out in our own strength or idea or presumption then you are representing. But it’s submission First.
I'm beginning to think my brother is yet to come face to face with some serious warfare. There are some scriptural evidence to this teaching, however, I can almost hear the Demons rejoicing now that we've been told not to cast them into the pit of hell during deliverance. People, listen to the voice of the Lord for directions during warfare. During warfare you are literally fighting for your life and those whom you love. Demons are determined and so should you!
This is deciving we have power over satan in Jesus name that is it.
#1 He was talking about fallen angels; principalities, powers, rulers, authorities which are types of angels. He absolutely was not talking about demons, which are the disembodied spirits of the Genesis 6 offspring of the angels and the daughters of men.
#2 What you are talking about is a totally different subject to what he is addressing. Fallen angels do not inhabit men, demons do, and we absolutely have authority to cast them out of those that God specifically prompted us to. The thing though is that all too-often people go places God never led them, say things God never said for them to say and do things God never led them to do. In every instance you see that Jesus did only as the Father led him to do, there were plenty of sick around Jesus that he never healed because he was not personally led to do so. Jesus himself specifically said that he said and did only what he was told by the Father, period.

In love, the majority of the people that disagree with him don’t even know the difference between a demon and a fallen angel. In the cannon of scripture no foreigner had ever come into Israel and was given authority to take dominion over principalities, powers, rulers, and authorities which are classes of angels they are not demons and they do not inhabit people. Demons do inhabit people and influence them. We all have the commission to take dominion and set people free, we however do not all have the authority to take dominion over territorial spirits. There are those in the territories that have that authority but trying to do that without them is encroachment of the authority that was given to them specifically by God. We see this in the story of Korah’s rebellion against the authority of Moses and Aaron placed by God.
Agreed, this isn't some battle where we just sit back, give praise to our father, and not expect resistance from the enemy. Every single day, temptations occur in our life that we must use the authority that our father has given us to rebuke all the powers of the enemy. Remember, when we have a relationship with our father where we devote our lives to him, the Devil will do whatever he can to try and stop it. We have authority to trample over the darkness, he's right we cannot send them into the pit of hell only Jesus will, however that does not mean we should not be engaging in spiritual warfare
Jesus did engaged in spiritual warfare. He was tested and tempted by the devil when he fasted. He resisted by quoting the Scripture. He set a multitude of people free from demon possession by commanding demons to come out. We do spiritual warfare on a daily basis. Always having to resist temptation. We need to pray for discernment so aa not to fall into temptation or follow people who is hiding his/her true identity or even what people say. Jesus told Peter, get thee behind me Satan, when Peter wanted to fight the soldiers off. He knew that it was a ploy from the devil, trying to prevent Jesus from being crucified and pay for our sin. He warned His disciples that he saw Satan fall from heaven onto the earth. Finally, He told his disciples that they will do all the things He did, because He’s going to the Father and send the Holy Ghost to us. How do we get the strength for spiritual warfare, by spending time in prayer and worship. Paul said he prayed in Tongues more than everybody there, but he does it in private where it edify his own spirit. Don’t let your own spirit be let astray. We are in a fight to win souls for Jesus Christ.

For some reason when I first saw this video I was offended and didn’t know why and stopped listening to John Paul.
2 years after his passing I went into a rough spot and the Lord led me to his videos again. I began sensing there is something this man had with the Lord that few christian leaders today have: relationship. And I want that for myself and my family, so things can become what they’re meant to be.
However- WE were also given power AND Authority to loose/bind/cast out evil spirits that are oppressing is or screwing with our lives

In all of your getting - get an understanding! We are to do all things with the leading, guiding, instruction and correction of the Holy Spirit and none of us are the Holy Spirit! Kristinne G because the practicing believer is apart of the body of Christ, our life is hid with Christ in God. So because spiritually we are his body, we are in heaven in/with him. When a believer engages in spiritual warfare, we are to first consciously come under spiritual submission to Christs authority- then we can go about resisting the devil, and as the scripture says, he will flee.
On a side note, I have observed that some Christians may be his mouthpiece, some his eyes, hands, feet, heart... gifted with purpose to fulfill

I believe what He is saying is when we wage war in deliverance for people or during our intercession and prayer time we can come against his workers operating here on earth in people. That is what he has given us authority to do.
Tell me this If we had authority to cast out satan from operating in the 2nd heaven why is he still operating? If Everyone is supposedly casting out principalities in the second heaven why is the world is still oppressed . Why? Because people have allowed him to.
JPJ is saying we need to deliver those in bondage and heal the sick here on earth. Pray for their eyes to see and ears to hear the truth and that truth is We have allowed these spirits to operate. Once we the army of God can get the world to know this then Satan can be casted out. Until then we have given him the authority to do so.

First, I think the problem with this teaching is that it’s confusing. Second, I don’t know anyone who does spiritual warfare that thinks they are casting anything out of the second heaven. After all, that’s the location of the kingdom of darkness. Nevertheless, where spirits are, and who goes where, that God’s responsibility.
However, when we do spiritual warfare, the battle takes place in the spirit realm because that’s where spirits dwell. When someone is demonized, the spirit is working in them and controlling them, but the spirit is not literally on the earth, they are in the spirit realm, because they are spirits!. They can work through a man because a man’s body is a temple, meaning it is a natural realm structure that contains the inner man (the soul and the spirit) which are supernatural. We simultaneously dwell in the natural and supernatural realms.
The wrestling against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and the spiritual wickedness in high places are situational and circumstantial works. They are related to the day to day goings on in the lives of people. We are not waging a war to defeat darkness once and for all. We are like doctors who handle things on a case by case bases, with the knowledge that we cannot irradiate sickness and disease. That final battle is what we are awaiting with the return of our beautiful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Exactly right, the devil WALKS ABOUT seeking whom he may devour, he has been cast down, Eph 6 tells us to STAND, it says nothing about fighting, we have authority over the devil and his minions on earth, we resist him and he flees, we cast out demons, but spiritual wickedness is out of our duristiction that is God's domain, the body of Christ rules on earth, God rules in the heavens.
John Paul Jackson has a book out called "The Casualties of War". It is a very good book about improper warfare.
I thought in that book we are to be seated with Christ in the heavenlies.

Also, when Lester Sumrall went to the Philippines and he went to pray for the girl in jail who was possessed, anyone that devil cursed was dead in a few days. He said I’ll be back and went and prayed and fasted then he came back and cast it out. He said it was the principality over that area. You can look up that video to get the whole story.

It is a territorial spirit. Because after that evil spirit was exorcised off Clarita Villanueva, that region in Philippines had a revival. 150,000 people came to salvation.
This is how we know it is not a rank and file demon. It is a higher ranking demon governing the region.

This is paralleled in the story of Jesus crossing over the lake. In Mark 5:1.
Jesus planned to cross the lake to Gadarene to deliver the demon possessed man living in the tombs. On the way on the lake, a storm arose. Spirits trying to stop Jesus. Jesus calmed the sea and crossed over.
The demon possessed man spoke and revealed that the demon's name is Legion, for they are many. The whole swarm of 3,000-5,000 demons had a spokesperson, a leader speaking on behalf of the whole group. It is the strongman. After it was cast out and went into the pigs, the man was free.
That man eventually became an evangelist (go tell everyone what great things the Lord has done for you). He went to Decapolis to preach what Jesus did for him.
Decapolis = city of 10.
10 cities in that region was freed by the territorial spirit, and was opened up to the Good News of Jesus Christ.

I do not agree with this false teaching because we are equiped with the armor of God for a very serious reason while living on earth (Ephesians 6:11: "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." ).
The only reason that the young generation does not know how to fight the good fight and are sneared into drugs, alcohol, violence and sex bondages is because they are not scripturaly taught how to fight and use the authority that Jesus and the Holy Sprit gave them. May God give you wisdom to truly understand that the devil declared war to every single human being since conception because he hates God's creation.

Study the biblical meaning of snakes and scorpions and you will find it is lies, slander and curses. Like the serpent distorting God’s truth and nature in the Garden of Eden.

They made us in Their likeness (how They operate) and They smash, trash, and bash satan and its evil spirits. If you want to be defeated by satan then keep believing you have no authority & power over them---but the Holy Word Jesus Christ is a demonstration of God's ultimate demon basher---all you have to do is read the Word and it's very clear that we have the same authority & power as Jesus Christ and we will even do GREAT THINGS than Jesus because He had to go to His Father. You are right, sister. This is a needed teaching that is helpful for everyone who was convinced they need to start binding demons and principalities and reaped the devastating consequences. For those with ears to hear, this gives hope.

All I know about this is that there are many passages in the bible that indicate that through Jesus, we have power over evil, but I also understand what this man is saying regarding our daily prayers and he's correct IMHO.
However, there was an event in my life where a demon or demons were attacking me in the night as I tried to sleep. The attack started shortly after I lied down to sleep. It lasted about 7 hours. I was froze with fear, my mind and body were paralyzed. I could feel tremendous weight on my stomach, chest, and throat. I felt as though I was choking on evil. Just before the end of the attack, I exploded out of the paralysis with a prayer my grandmother taught me as a child and the attack was immediately ceased. I don't remember a single moment after the prayer and fell into a deep sleep and awoke a half an hour later as though I hadn't missed a seconds sleep all night.
This event divided my life into two parts. Before the attack, and after the saving.
It was horrible and beautifully miraculous at the same time. For me, it was a rebirth and the power of our Lord Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father have been in my heart ever since. Though since then, I was tormented by a specific demon I believe to be Succubus, because after the attack, I became obsessed with sex. I'm happy to say that through the power of Jesus and prayer, I have been celibate for about 4 years now and have in recent months gained abstinence from porn and masturbation. All things are possible through my Savior, my Deliverer, my High Power, he who is Jesus Christ.

Definatel respons with authority over your own space against enemy intrusion. Do so with rightful authority. Otherwise, focus praise and attention on God.

Actually, John Paul is completely true and accurate and discerning and warning the Body of Christ against the binding Satan or binding territorial spirits. Read his ‘Needless Casualties of War’ far the full backstory to his prophetic discernment and the outcomes in particular situations. In my experience, when I was ‘binding everything’ I saw poverty, broken relationships and poor health, not just in my own life but in 2 other couples who did this. Listen and learn and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth.
He is not afraid of demons. However, his warfare is wise. He praises God. God inhabits the praises of hid people. Who are you invoking? Name demons, bind demons and find you will get demons.

I went to a church back in the 90s and witnessed a woman speaking in a man’s voice when pastor began to pray for her, she was coming out of the occult. But as soon as she began manifesting they hurried her out to a prayer room. They did not make a spectacle of her, it was very respectful unlike what we see today. I like JPJ, but with all due respect, this seems to imply that the devil and principalities have some kind of lofty, untouchable status. The Bible says that Jesus did indeed disarm rulers and principalities and Paul mentions that we do wrestle against these things. Also, some people believe that demons are fallen angels, so then when we cast them out, aren't we actually "commanding angels"? Is it possible that Jesus left them in place for believers to pull down and not because they have some cosmic diplomatic immunity?

bottomline - without an anointing, that is the baptism of the Holy Spirit, no one should command demons to come out of a person. The seven sons of Sceva prove this point. (Acts 19:11-20) Be blessed everyone.
We must be "sent" by God. The anointing gives us Holy Ghost power but being "sent", commissioned by God directly gives us the divine authority and status to act on God's behalf. King Jesus after anointing the 12 Apostles, he then sends them out. Without being called and sent, demons can tear you up as we see in the case of the sons of Sceva. Those men were calling on the Name of the Lord but God did not anoint them and send them in His Name. 1 Tim 5:22 also says "Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands..." We must wait on the Lord. A good example is how God appeared to Moses and then called him and sent him to be his instrument of deliverance to Israel. Be blessed.

I understand the point he’s trying to make is in the book if Jude it says Michael the archangel in dealing with Satan did not bring railing accusations at him, but said, the Lord rebuke you. I’m understanding that like Daniel brought his prayers and repentance to God, God In Turn sent Gabriel and Michael to fight the Prince of Persia. I think he’s saying there are some levels of the spiritual realm that you have to know where you are in the spirit. Jesus said, the god of this world comes and he has nothing in me.

If we must defend ourselves that’s different but don’t go into prayer to attack. Go into prayer to speak to God. Rebuke the devil (yes) resist (yes) But not go out seeking to fight principalities. Why would we do that? Only God can fight certain battles so the more we fast, pray etc I think this in itself is empowering us spiritually and brings God on the scene.

Wrestle with what Paul describes in the armour: truth and faith. Note that no one in the Bible bound territorial spirits or angels. Look at all the prayers of Paul. Not one binds principalities and he knew what he was up against.

I'm guessing your Catholic. Praise Jesus, but the leaders were in telling you to pray to angels and Saints. Angels reject your telling them what to do, they don't work for you, they serve GOD and He alone. You may thank you angels, but they run away if you pray TO them. As for saints, they are dead men's bones, they cannot hear you. Demons however will masquerade as send and saints and Grant you favors because they know this is against God. These are marks against you. Please do not pray to Saints, Jesus mother, it angels. This is deception.
You put your health, marriage, job and prosperity at risk if you stray from what John Paul teaches here. As you name and engage demons, and higher powers they also get access to you and to your life. But this is very confusing. One year ago I was attacked by demons in a dream and God gave me a fighitng line :wherever you go, spread your arms and say : I DECLARE : THIS IS THE HOUSE OF THE LORD AND I INVITE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST TO LIVE HERE!
This IS attacking the principalities over the places I go and do this. And God revealed to me the principality over the city I live in, where He moved me.

Don't be confused, but seek the understanding of the teachings. There are 4 classes of demons according to Ephesians 6:12. The first three classes, you can fight with them, one by one, because they attack you with sickness, blindness, . . . . But the last classe, the major ones who are in the second heaven, have nothing to do with you directly, they can not attack you with sickness, poverty, . . . They have their job, e.g leading humanity toward idolatry. So, you need, not to cast them directly, but to pray the Father who knows how to deal with them. If you pray the Father, then He will show you how to deal with them. This is the teaching that this man of God has given. Be blessed in Christ Jesus.

This video is more important now more than ever as there is a growing number of believers claiming to go into the heavens and battle demons through court cases and even battle the demonic. John Paul Jackson was warning us about this.
We are told to come boldly unto the throne of grace which is third Heaven, as he stated. Jesus blood is the verdict. We should not war in the third Heaven. It is finished there. We just confess and repent there and Jesus does the rest.

I looked through the comments and many are quoting the letters of the scriptures not the Spirit. 2Cor.3:4-6 & John 6:63 - most people has inflicted or brought attack upon themselves through the way and manner they undertake spiritual warfare without being led of the Spirit. What John Paul is discussing here, which can be missed, is warfare in the 2nd heaven, not the war on our earth which is the 1st heaven. They (God, Jesus, Holy Spirit) gave us dominion over the 1st heaven, so stick with that realm unless of course God tells you differently! Satan set up his kingdom on the 2nd heaven (no, satan doesn't live in hell) and it does not belong to him, but unto God, so I suspect one day we'll be getting much clearer revelation on God's 2nd heaven. God has given us authority over the enemy, Paul tells us our battle is not against flesh and blood but against dark forces and principalities in the heavenly places. We cast them out in Jesus name. By His power not our own. The next part of the verse of tread on scorpions and serpents is that God has given authority and power over the enemy and his power and that nothing shall harm us. Beware of preachers who do not tell the whole verse and does not take the whole bible into context. Paul says, therefore stand in the evil day . He does not say, never says, never does “bind the spiritual authorities.’ So don’t ADD TO WHAT HE IS SAYING. You could find trouble that way.
I think this is sound teaching. If Christ Himself did not specifically direct us to do this, than we need to take note. Ephesians 6 talks about all these powers that we face that are in high places and the unseen realm, but what it refers to is ensuring that we put on the armour of God and then to STAND. It doesn't specify that we are actively running around battling heavenly entities. The Lord does the battle not us, but we DO need to put on the armour. Jesus also said "whatsoever you bind on EARTH etc, and loose on earth. Pretty clear distinction there. Our authority doesn't extend to the second heaven when you consider this. I've always had a check in my spirit about this and now it makes sense.

God gave us authority on earth not in the heavens. The spiritual realm works with the principle of territories. Battles in the second heaven is for God and his angels.
Remember in the book of Daniel 10 when angle Gabriel said Daniel's prayer was delayed for 21 days because he was battling in the second heaven. When they send delegates to earth to harrase us, we have the power and right to butcher them.
If you are the president or prime minister of earth, then you may have the authority to engage second heaven principalities.

The first few comments are off base. I understood EVERYTHING you said. You commenters are not understanding what we are dealing with.
1. ALL ANGELS, including the bad ones, HAVE SEEN THE FACE OF GOD. It is our Souls that have NOT seen God yet, and neither WILL the demons running about, they never will, we have a chance to.
2. Fallen angels are NOT DEMONS. That's your first error. Demons are the disembodied spirits of the Nephilim, The offspring of the mating of fallen Angels in human females from Genesis 6. After the floods wiped out most of them, they wandered aimlessly.
These disembodied spirits are what's roaming this planet infecting and infesting people and causing all the hysteria and evil that we see taking place.
We were given power to remove THEM from men. Angels cannot, and likely WOULD not take over a human body. We are tiny physical beings, they are giant celestial beings.
The demons will NEVER get to heaven so they covet physical bodies. Remember when Jesus cast the Legion spirits out of the man and they begged him to let them go into the pigs? Angels don't do that.
3. The speaker in this video is telling us to LEAVE THE ANGELS alone, do not challenge them... You WILL LOSE. Do not call on them to do you favors as the misguided Catholic Church admonishes to do. Do NOT pray to angels, they abhor that. We may THANK our guardian angels, but it stops there.

So in Ephesians it says by apostle Paul, we wrestle with principalities in heavenly places and other entities. The way we wrestle is by praying against them and taking authority so nations, coties, towns, neighborhoods be free. Satan don’t want us to pray at this level.
Stick with what Paul said and that is to stand in the army. There is not a single prayer by Paul or any other apostle the is an example of what you say. Notice how you come under a curse when you do this. I know I did.

There are cases where believers get bad backlashes after doing battle vs the 2nd heaven. But I am legally (positioned) seated with Christ in heavenly places, so why can't I hit out at 2nd heaven? I sensed the Lord saying that a legal position is not an experiential reality n hence we are not ready. Only after we enter into high praise n worship do our legal positions - seated in heavenly places with Christ - becomes manifested. Then we can wage warfare vs 2nd heaven. Prior to that, we can't. We just petition Jesus to deal with 2nd heaven battles, n thru my own experience, He did!

@@mbm0877 hey I'm actually her husband, with that said demons are from the other realm of which we can't see all the time hence they got kicked out of heaven but we don't see them with our naked eyes unless the appear to scare you or host in a person. Demons are evil Paul tells us the are the principalities and dark rulers that are in high places. So if you have ever cast a demon out in Jesus name or excorcised a home, land or properties than yes that is a form of battle which God has had me do numerous times, I've seen them appear on one occasion in "a ship aka ufos whatever you wanna call it " and I don't believe in the idea of aliens persay. But that fallen angels no longer would look like angels or would use technology that is not of this world or of our understanding. That were more interdimensional ships rather than from space. It's weird but I lie not. God had me when I was praying one time to stop my prayer and call out to the universe which I did that every knee shall bow and every tounge confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and then this ship slips in with almost out of a cloak of some sorts and appears in the sky hovering and God told me not to look at it and my body was shaking with fear though I had no fear in my mind or heart cuz I was trusting in God. And it eventually it hovered away from me and I dropped to my knees and prayed to God to protect me and I praised God and said weather I live or die all glory to Him. Then it went away. Never seen one since nor do I care too but I guess that was the closet I got to witnessing some sort of physical warfare with the second heaven but I do not wish to go there but I do as God asked me He told me to say that, something answered out of the sky and I prayed to God for protection and said I trust in the Lord. Beyond that I fight using the word of God casting out demons in Jesus name. Annoiting the sick in oil in Jesus name, I've seen the dead raise through prayer and I've heard God's voice audibly one time. I was humbled but stick to what the Bible says it is one hundred percent God's Word, trust in the Lord Jesus because apart from Him we can do nothing and ask the Holy Spirit to lead you in all truth. Listen to God, stay vigilant, test the spirits to see if there from God and have faith because without faith is is impossible to please God. According to Ephesians 6:12, we can engage spiritual battle with the first 3 classes of demons, because their deeds concern us directly, those demons attack and afflict men directly, they are adressing to us without medium. But according to the 4th class which belongs to the second heaven, the battle must be initiated and totally led by God. Because their deeds are not to attack us, to cause sickness, . . ., but their main goal is to lead men toward idolatry (Jeremiah 7:18).
So the battle with them is the domain of God, and God can work with you to cast them. So If God leads you to deal with them, He will show you the strategy of the battle.
What I am saying is this, those demons of second heaven are high rank in the darkness kingdom hierarchy, and the battle with them is not so easy as some christians think : Can you imagine what power that demon of Daniel 10 : 13 can have to resist, not to an angel, but to archangel Gabriel, who seats in the presence of the Lord in Heaven face to face (Luke 1 : 19), not 1 hour or 1 day but 21 days, and Gabriel failed to beat him alone, he needed Michael's help, what kind of battle! Why that? Because, those demons were God's angels, they were Gabriel and Michael colleagues. That is why Michael and Gabriel have respect for them according to Jude 1:9.
So the battle against the second heaven needs the implication of God Himself, as what you've said : "God had me when I was praying one time to stop my prayer and call out to the universe which I did . . ." Do you see, that battle were not initiated by you, but by God desiring to work with you. And that is exactly what JPJ has taught. It is not you who engage the battle, but God with you. So then, God was in charge.

I agree with you, but the bible says in Colossians 3:1 and Ephesians 2:6 that we are raised with Christ, meaning that although we were once made a little lower than the angels, Christ- the new Adam, makes us Above the angels.
Besides it is Christ, or His Holy Spirit, whom raise me up in worship to fight in the second Heaven. I did not seek this work. It was only birthed from my intimacy with God, by which we are all called to battle principalities, authorities and powers and dominions, and spiritual wickedness in high places, as said in Ephesians 6.
Thus is the new order of existence since the resurrection. Father, Son, Man, Woman, and Angels. Now that we are Christ's body we have been raised higher than angels. This is why we CAN command angels- to cast out fallen ones AND to command the hosts and give them orders in Jesus' name.

Nope. Scripture says we war against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places. When God sent the Israelites into Canaan, he said I will send an angel before you to drive out the canaanites, the amorites etc., but the Israelites still had to go and fight. This is interesting teaching, reading comments most it seems don't agree with this teaching on prayer. I will give respect to John Paul and study further because I have been questioning spiritual warfare after reading 1 Thessalonians 2:18 when Paul said that Satan blocked him from travelling. Speaking in tongues is also our warfare weapon. Then there is Binding the strong man. Mmm more studying.

Inquiring minds want to know, the verse in the Bible that talks about whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. Somebody please explain this to me because all my life I thought that’s what we were supposed to do.

Yes, Danielle, that's exactly what I thought of too! But, John Paul is referring to the 2nd heaven where satan has set up his temporary kingdom. When we pray, have clap offerings, dance...this warfare goes through the 2nd heaven and BREAKS UP satan's kingdom...the evil spirits are always repairing and patching from the holes we're blasting through satan's things. You can learn a lot from this video, that people would literally go to people to cast their demons out. I honestly think that is wrong and is not how God intended us to be safe.
Classic Video Games 1777 I saw John Paul Jackson on a video on TV last week (May '15) and there he said to not attack demons in the second heaven, but to do our warfare here in the first heaven which is earth, in other words to do warfare with the demons in our spiritual realm here. That includes casting demons out of people here (the first heaven) as Jesus did and taught his disciples, but to not go into the second heaven which is the demonic realm. He kind of said the same thing here on this video. I'm so glad the demons were cast out of me in 1978. Life is good now.
Some people unfortunately fall into the posession of demons that they require someone's help who can pray and ask for God's light to cast out the evil spirits. I had a family member who needed this type of intervention. It's not however a work everyone can do. Remember that its through Jesus that we can cast these spirits out. I recommend checking out John Ramirez who is a former satanist now evangelist who talks heavily about this.

I am a bit confused, that we cannot come against the principalities over a region bc we are coming against God's order at creation, or something like it? Jesus has put us above angels and all the power of the enemy. Can you explain further? Jesus says the enemy is defeated and that in all things we are like Jesus, and in His Name we will destroy all power of the enemy? Could it not be that instead these individuals battled without preparation and strategy and the enemy saw them and knew how to get to them? Else Luke says. Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Yeap, strategy is essential and the Holy Spirit gives it to us. Why didn't they just called the captives to be free and bind the enemy first?

U are still talking about 1st heaven evil. PJJ is talking about Satan's headqrs in the 2nd heaven.
All I know is years ago, I was under a bad demonic attack though I was already a Christian. I dealt with some things that I had no business delving into but my curiosity got the best of me at the time. I tried rebuking every demon I could think of and nothing worked. I was miserable and was tormented. Even hearing about the Lord made me groan in spirit.
One night, while in the tub, I was crying to the Lord about my misery and while doing so, I heard that small still voice of the Lord tell me to "bind the spirit of witchcraft," the one spirit I hadn't thought of at the time. When I did so, I could feel the evil presence leave me. Once again, I could feel joy when hearing about the Lord and I was able to sleep peacefully that night when, during previous nights, I would feel pokes and hear screaming in my ear.
The next evening, I could feel the presence trying to return but the Spirit of God led me to read Psalms out loud via quiet mutterings and the presence couldn't take it because I was using the shield of faith and the Sword of the Lord which is the Word of God. It left for good after that.
I say all of that to point out that from experience, besides the fact that the Word of God explicitly tells us about spiritual warfare, I know for a fact that we have been given power to rebuke the enemy when we are under attack. To this day I still remember that 9 day attack and how God, through Jesus, had delivered me. I cannot get with the message being conveyed in the video when I've not only read the opposite in the Word but I've also personally experienced it working for me.

Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him... and we are in Him
Also...Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
There are three heavens. The first one is where we live with the birds of the heavens (our atmosphere). The second heaven is where lucifer and his fallen angels /demons reign /live - their dwelling place. Beloved, this is where I understand the teacher to warning us that we are not supposed to directly ascend our prayers and fight satan and his demons rather fighting the battle in our war zones. Technically, the battle will spill over to the heavenly places without us having to declare war directly on to the second heaven. In this regard the teacher is very much correct. Lastly of course, the third Heaven is where our Almighty God & His angels live. It is where the apostle Paul was once taken too. Our prayers are sent to the third Heaven via the challenging passage of the second luciferian second heaven. In the second heaven prayers get blocked & sometimes even our answers get blocked. At some stage Michael the angel of defence had to rescue angel Gabriel in order to bring down the answer from the third heaven to the first heaven /earth. Beloved, I request that we do some research about the second heaven. It is the headquarters of the earth's miseries & we must have more knowledge about it then we won't fight amiss. I personally understand where this teacher is coming from. I love you all children of our Most High God in JESUS'S NAME

About healing and deliverance from evil spiritual attacks : We have to receive Jesus Christ as our Lord & Saviour through the confession of our sins. Second challenge will be to find a very good church with a sound biblical doctrine. I personally do not believe in person's / ones man's ministry (denomination /Church). This become family inheritance /legacies & no longer submissive to the spirit of the Lord Lord that after we have fasted and prayed the Holy spirit delicate himself those who supposed to lead us. My recommendation of good denominations /Church with biblical sound doctrines will therefore be limited to what we have here in South Africa. Those denominations are : Apostolic Faith Mission, Assemblies Of God, Baptist Church and Full Gospel.
When I got born again in 1987 have suffered a lot of spiritual battles but after finding my spiritual home in the Assemblies of God, all is well in my soul. Let us continue to work out Our Salvation with Fear and Trembling.

Jesus or the disciples never engaged in warfare in heavenly realm. I haven't red anything like "I command or I bind the principalities of this or that region " Pretty much all of the prayer from Jesus and His disciples were all around people's blindness, hardness of the heart or ignorance to be removed as well as the deliverance and healing. Jesus has all authority and He gave to man the one that was lost by Adam. He gave us dominion according to Luke 10:19.
