    Nice tutorial. Didn't know about that feature with holding ctrl while moving layers in 3D, thanks

    Bro, I searched this tutorial because I was having issues adding lines and graphics on AE to a Google Earth scene I had to 3D track. The video is part of a short documentary I'm editing, and I literally used all the songs you put in this tutorial for said documentary. Fantastic coincidence, and extremely useful tutorial, thank you very much!

      Hey man, really appreciate your comment! The best ambient chill tracks youtube audio library has to offer haha. Be sure to send me a link to the doc when you're finished!

      @@DPalmerMotion Thanks for everything! The documentary is in spanish unfortunately, but the Google Earth scene with the added graphics will certainly be there, thanks to you 👍

    this is so useful... but I have a question about the "continuous rasterizing" switch you turned on 5:10. When I turn it on I no longer see the just stroke effect but rather the I see the whole solid (using the cinema4D renderer). If I switch to the classic 3D renderer is see only the stroke as desired but the resulting line no longer accepts lights! Anybody know of any work-arounds for this?

    Do you have a tutorial on how to animate the marker like you did?

  • @APPTVLIVE

    when I do this the position of the line change when the map slightly move
    how I hold the lines on the specific position

    • @DPalmerMotion
      @DPalmerMotion  Před 3 lety

      Hey! Not sure exactly what you mean, but I'll try and answer.
      All the movement in the video comes from camera movements so the lines should stay in the same place on the map. If you do want to animate the map position you could try parenting the lines to the map or precomping the map + lines together. I'm not 100% sure how these two suggestions would come out though.

    When I turn on the Continuosly Rasterize button, the solid becomes all visible. Looks like stroke mask is disabled. Why is that?

    how can apparent the camera to an null . can't find the option

    • @DPalmerMotion
      @DPalmerMotion  Před 2 lety

      Ahh apologies, I use a script in the video.
      What you can do is right click on the timeline and select "New>Null Object", then make that Null a 3D object and parent the camera to the 3D Null layer.
